Hello from the 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
We’ve been making our way around the festival trying new and returning eats, enjoying the entertainment, checking out the cookie stroll, and so much more! Now we’re headed to the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen located near the Germany pavilion for some festive food!
Menu
This booth has been around for quite a few years now and it’s a standout in our opinion! Here’s a look at this year’s menu:
Yes, you read that right — there’s CHEESE in a bread bowl! So let’s dive into the food!
Eats
First up is the Pork Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce, Spätzle, and Braised Red Cabbage for $6.25. We first tried this dish in 2019 and it was one of our favorites from the festival! This is a very hearty dish and we especially love the mushroom sauce.
The dish that catches our eye and any other cheese-lover’s eye is the Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl with Steamed Baby Vegetables and Marble Potatoes for $8.25! It’s no surprise that we absolutely love this one. This is definitely a good option if you need some liquid cheese! It’s a huge serving so it’s easily shareable making it a great deal at the festival. Seriously, if we could just live off nothing but cheese in a bread bowl, we’d be happy.
Last but not least on the menu is the Linzer Cookie from the festival’s cookie stroll! Last year, this cookie reminded us of a fancy PopTart (and we weren’t complaining), and we still really like it this year. It’s nice and soft, and the fruit makes it light and not super sweet. No lie — this might be our favorite cookie of the festival so far!
You can grab the cookie for just $2.50.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the food from this booth.
Beverages
Let’s move on to the drinks! This booth offers plenty of alcoholic options and there is a good amount of variety. First up is the Hard Apple Cider, which is perfect for classic cider fans! It has that iconic apple cider flavor and is just the right amount of sweet. It’s $5 for 6 oz. and $9 for 12 oz.
The Tank Brewing Co. Prost Fest Beer is new to the festival this year, as well as the Ayinger Brewery Celebrator Doppelbock Beer! Both beers are also $5 for 6 oz. and $9 for 12 oz. You can also still pick up the Christmas-y classics Regional Riesling for $6 or Glühwein (a house-made hot spiced wine) for $9.
Finally, the Bavaria booth offers a Beer Flight for $9.75.
Overall
The Bavaria Holiday Kitchen booth is a hit in our book! Any booth with cheese fondue and bread has to be a favorite. The cookie here is also delicious and we’ll continue to get it year after year.
