Tuscany Holiday Kitchen is where to find holiday Italian dishes at EPCOT’s 2021 Festival of the Holidays.
This returning booth has some new and some returning dishes, including Ravioli and Bomboloni! Read on for our full review here!
In the World Showcase, you’ll find the Tuscany Holiday Kitchen located in the Italy Pavilion. You can use our FREE DFB exclusive printable see all the menu items this year. Let’s take a look at what Italian dishes you’ll find here!
Menu
There’s one returning dish this year and TWO new ones! The Mezzelune Croccanti is back, while the Ravioli and Bombolini alla Cioccolato-Nocciola are the new options.
In terms of drinks, take your pick! There’s wine, sparkling wine, sangria, a margarita, and even a pilsner.
Eats
Shall we eat? We’ve already tried the Mezzelune Croccanti in the past, which we’ve also seen at the 2021 Food and Wine Festival. These half-moon fried pastas tend to be tasty, but at $12 they’re a bit overpriced for the serving size. The dish is Crispy Half-Moon Breaded Mozzarella-filled Ravioli with Pomodoro Sauce.
Today we ordered the Ravioli, which is Shrimp Ravioli in Scampi Sauce with White Wine, Garlic, Lemon Zest, and Parsley for $13. So was this dish worth the cost?
Italy’s festival booth is notorious for being one of our least favorites, but we were WOWED by this pasta! It’s still a little pricy, but the shrimp was nice and creamy and you get FIVE large pieces of pasta.
It’s full of filling and very flavorful with a profile that isn’t overly fishy. We really enjoyed this eat! It might not be the best thing we’ve eaten all day, but it was a lot better than we were expecting. Did someone say most-improved booth?
The Bombolini alla Cioccolato-Nocciola is a Chocolate-filled Italian Doughnut with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread and Powdered Sugar for $11. That sounds pretty good and it looks tasty too!
These were tasty but not anything too special. The best part was that they were LOADED with the chocolate-hazelnut spread. Honestly, we could’ve used a glass of milk with these!
Still, $11 for three little mini doughnuts is a bit high of a price for us to stomach. But they were a nice sweet bite!
And, on to the drinks!
Beverages
This booth has something for most tastes when it comes to beverages, there are a variety of wines including Pinot Grigio, Chianti, and Prosecco for $10 each, and Moscato and Rose Regale for $11 each. You can also pick up the Italian White Sangria with Prosecco or the Italian Red Sangria with Cabernet Sauvignon for $11.
Looking for something a little more unique? You can try the Italian Margarita with Tequila and Limoncello for $11 which has been a Best of the Fest pick for us in the past! Beer drinkers might snag the Pilsner for $6 (6 ounces) or $10 (12 ounces).
Overall
Overall, this booth surprised us this year! It’s still pricier compared to most of the other booths and none of the eats are particular stand-outs, but it was WAY better than we expected. If you like Italian food and don’t mind splurging a bit on your fest portion, you might want to swing by Tuscany Holiday Kitchen!
And that’s it for this booth! Keep reading DFB for the rest of the 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays booths. We’ve got more reviews coming your way!
