UPDATE: More dates have now been added for the end of January 2022. You can find out more about availability here.
Earlier this year, we shared the news that fireworks cruises and dessert parties were returning to Magic Kingdom. When Magic Kingdom’s newest fireworks spectacular Disney Enchantment debuted with three new dessert parties available, we were able to check them out!
While we were able to check these offerings out when they returned, recently we’ve been receiving multiple inquiries from readers who are saying that they are unable to book these fireworks packages in after January 21st, 2022.
We found this to be a bit strange, since Disney World had not announced any changes being made to their fireworks package availability. We reached out to a Cast Member and pointed out the fact that the packages appeared to be unavailable after January 21st, and asked if they were available for booking after that date.
A Cast Member replied and said that fireworks package reservations are usually available 60 days in advance (like a Dining Reservation), but if availability is not showing, then those dates may not be available.
As of this writing, 60 days out would be January 28th, 2022 — a full week after the latest date you can currently book a fireworks package. Is Disney modifying the fireworks dining package schedule to accommodate for lower park demand post-holiday season? Perhaps! Or Disney may simply be waiting to add these dates to the calendar. Either way, it appears that from January 21st onward, Magic Kingdom’s fireworks dining packages and water cruises are currently unavailable for booking.
We’re keeping a watchful eye on this situation as it develops. If you want up-to-date information on the availability of fireworks packages along with all of the other latest Disney World news, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you can stay in-the-know!

I’ve experienced the same thing for the Epcot dining fireworks packages. Is anyone else experiencing this for the end of January?
Nicole says
Thank you for pointing this out! We are desperately trying to book this fireworks after show party for that week of January 21st week and every single day is greyed out cannot book. Strange! But I will be following your updates if anything opens up.
Megan says
So now they are open but it says no times available for any day that week…?
Kim says
Steph – yes! I experienced the same for the Rose & Crown fireworks dining package in Epcot – appears to be unavailable after January 29. It doesn’t show the time at all – it’s grayed out.
Kim says
Actually! Just checked again and they appear to be back!! Steph – check again – hope you get it!
Megan says
They are up now! Just booked mine. No party on Jan 25 when the park closes early.
Brook says
I booked one for 1/21 and didn’t even notice it wasn’t offered later in the month. Very curious!
Brad says
of course. the day before we arrive.
Megan says
We have a trip coming up the 24th and just this morning my sister snagged the After Party for the 27th. So it may be open now.
I had also did the chat with a cast member this past Sunday and they just said “to keep watching the dates”
Kelsey Berteaux says
I was able to book mine this morning for Jan 24th!!! Looks like they’ve released them now!
Kelsey Berteaux says
Ecpot is still being weird for me, but I did get MK to finally book this morning 🙂
RickTR says
They are probably waiting for Chapek to figure out how high he can raise the prices on them.
Danielle says
That happened to me after my 60 days out for January 9th and those didn’t release until about two weeks ago on 11/17. We finally managed to get the reservation but I checked constantly.
Janis says
I got a reservation for January 25 but I made the reservation on November 18th. It is still showing up in my plans.
Pudgie says
When booking for early Jan., dates released about two weeks late. Took constant monitoring to get date I wanted during this wait. So delayed releases appear to be the norm for the dessert parties.
Pam Withers says
I noticed the days were showing up yesterday but no availability. Today I was able to make reservations!!!
Jon says
I booked Seats and Treats this morning for Jan 30.
Annie says
They just opened up late January dates this morning 🙂
Heather says
I was just barely able to book a dessert after-party for February 3rd, but I had to do it at 3am PST when I was first able to do so. I thought end of January/beginning of February was supposed to be their down season? But reservation times in general were picked over pretty heavily! We were able to get everything but o’hana. Luckily we’re staying at the poly so we can room service those noodles and the bread pudding!
Stephanie says
Thanks all! I’m still trying for Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package for 1/28 and can’t get anything – doesn’t say any availability for any days during our stay 1/26-1/30 unfortunately but I’ll keep checking.
