There’s a new restaurant in town located not too far from Disney World property! While there have been several new restaurants opening up at Disney World like Space 220, Steakhouse 71, and La Crêperie de Paris, we’re also curious to hear about the neighboring resort areas offering new dining options for visitors.
If your next trip to Disney World includes a stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, you’ll want to check out this new dining spot.
Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen officially opens this week, and we got to take a sneak peek this afternoon! Let’s check it out!

The bar was mixing up cocktails from their menu.
Clearly, we had to check some out for ourselves!
And yes, there are flamingos everywhere!
Here’s a look at the seating area. Chef Blais mentioned that they wanted to go for a vintage Florida vibe throughout the restaurant, whether that was through the decorations or the glassware guests were drinking from. You can really tell every detail was thought through!
The restaurant is located in the former location of Hemingway’s. In fact, if you look closely, you’ll find several Hemingway books used as decor as a little nod to the spot’s former tenant!
Guests were also able to sample items from the menu, which was inspired by Florida-based ingredients like stone crab, citrus, and Mahi Mahi. Everything we tried had a great light, bright flavor profile that totally fits with a Florida vibe.
Dishes available from their Sunday Brunch menu to take a look at included Tuna Tostone…
…as well as their Shrimp Toast! The Shrimp Toast was our personal favorite amongst all of the dishes we tried. It had a great crispy texture on the outside with a lovely contrasting flakey texture on the inside. It wasn’t at all fishy either; we would totally order this if we came here for Brunch!
For dinner, guests can dine on a large serving of Steak…
…along with a side of Collared Greens to balance things out!
Chef Blais himself was there to greet guests!
Overall, this is a beautiful spot in the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, filled with nice touches and delicious-looking menus for both Brunch and Dinner.
Check it out for yourself the next time you’re at the Hyatt Regency, and be sure to follow along for the latest updates and openings both on and off Disney World property!
