Want to stay in Disney World after the official closing time? There’s a way to do that but you have to be staying at a Disney World Deluxe Resort, a Deluxe Villa, or other select hotels.
As long as you’re staying in a qualified Disney World Resort hotel, you can take advantage of Extended Evening Hours, which allows guests extra time in two Disney Parks after closing time on scheduled dates. Only a select amount of rides are open during Extended Evening Hours, and a new ride was just added to the list!
Extended Evening Hours just debuted in Disney World in October, and so far, only EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are participating. These special hours are generally scheduled on Monday and Wednesday nights with an additional two hours open for qualifying guests. Not all rides operate nor are all restaurants open for Extended Evening Hours, and today we noticed an addition on the EPCOT ride lineup. Can you spot it?
EPCOT’s newest ride, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, has been added to Extended Evening Hours! Right now, Remy does not have a standby line, so this could be a great opportunity to ride without worrying about securing a spot in the virtual queue or paying for Individual Attraction Selection.
So far, Disney has released the schedule for Extended Evening Hours through February 16th, 2022, so make sure you double-check the schedule if you’re hoping to take advantage of these extra hours and the opportunity to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
Remember to also check the list of qualifying Disney World Resort hotels before making plans to attend Extended Evening Hours in Disney World. And keep checking back with DFB for more Disney World news!

Have you noticed a difference in the crowd levels during the day at the park with extra park hours in the evening? Just trying to determine if higher crowds earlier in the day might cancel out the benefit of extra hours at night. I don’t have a park hopper ticket, but I am staying at a deluxe Disney resort and would like to enjoy that perk. (With EMH, my strategy was to avoid the park with EMH that day.)
