We’re big fans of eating around the world in EPCOT, and right now you can do that holiday-style with EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. This year’s festival had some returning favorites as well as new snacks, drinks, and even an entirely new holiday kitchen to try!
We’ve already got a list of our favorite items at this year’s festival, but we wanted to know what YOU liked best. We’ve been hosting the Festival of the Holidays Food Face-Off on our Instagram page, with readers voting for their faves. Now, we have finally arrived at the moment you’ve all been waiting for: the results are IN.
It’s been a grueling competition with tons of good snacks and treats in the bracket. But there can only be one winner. Let’s take a look at our finalists for this year’s Festival of Holidays Food Face-Off.
First up, repping the savory snacks, we had the Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl from Bavaria Holiday Kitchen.
This snack is a bread bowl filled with cheese fondue, served with baby veggies and marbled potatoes on the side. You can get one for $8.25. It was a delicious, shareable option, and it’s also very versatile since we love dipping practically any snack into liquid cheese.
But is it enough to take on our next competitor? The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie from the American Holiday Table is standing up for the sweets at this festival.
This chocolate crinkle cookie is topped with a dark chocolate Dove square, and it only costs $2.50! It’s been a favorite of ours for a while now, since it’s rich, moist, and very tasty.
So who emerged victorious in this holiday smackdown? The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie takes the crown!
It was a pretty close race, but 59% of our readers voted the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie as the BEST thing at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays this year. Is it the dark chocolate-y taste? Or the gooey texture? Or maybe that surprisingly low price tag? Turns out, there are a lot of reasons to love this cookie. You can get one at the American Holiday Table booth (located at the American Adventure pavilion).
And it’s also part of the Cookie Stroll, where you can purchase five different cookies around World Showcase and then take your completed Cookie Stroll map back to the Holiday Sweets and Treats Booth for a delicious prize (or two).
That’s it for this year’s Festival of the Holidays Food Face-Off. Keep following DFB for more news about the best Disney food to try on your vacation!
