We’re less than three months away from the grand opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney World! This highly-anticipated “hotel” takes guests to a galaxy far, far away for a two-night immersive experience, unlike anything we’ve seen at Disney World!
Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser
A big component of the Galactic Starcruiser experience appears to be the one-of-a-kind character interactions guests will be able to have. In fact, guests themselves can assume the role of their own character, whether that’s to join the rebel alliance or to join forces with the First Order.
Entertainment Weekly has unveiled a first look at a brand-new character in the Star Wars universe that will make their debut with Galactic Starcruiser: Captain Keevan.

Captain Keevan is the ship’s leader and will escort guests on their two-night journey, which includes an excursion to Batuu, a night of live entertainment, and, according to Entertainment Weekly, “interconnected stories for multiple endings.”

Imagineering executive Scott Trowbridge hinted a little more as to the exact role Captain Keevan will play, noting that “We’ll learn a lot more about her and her role in some pretty iconic moments in Star Wars history,” and points out that while Keevan may exude “professionalism second to none…there may be more to her than meets the eye.” Oooh. Sounds like we may have to keep an eye on this captain!

As much as we would love to hear a deeper backstory on Captain Keevan, we may have to wait until Galactic Starcruiser embarks on its maiden voyage on March 1st to get the full scoop!.
