There are several meetings Disney holds each year, including quarterly earnings calls and the annual shareholder meeting.
Sometimes these meetings reveal BIG things about the company’s financial status or the plans it has for the upcoming year. We recently listened in to the 4th Quarter earnings call, but now there’s a date you’ll want to mark down for 2022.
In 2021, Disney held its annual meeting of shareholders on March 9th. It seems that date will stick around for 2022.
Today Disney announced that the annual meeting of shareholders of The Walt Disney Company will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022.
The meeting will begin at 1PM ET (10AM PT) and will be available via webcast at www.disney.com/investors.
We’ll be interested to hear what Disney’s officials have to share during the 2022 shareholder meeting regarding the state of the company and plans for the future. Some big changes have taken place in the Disney parks and the company overall this year, and more changes are on the way. Bob Iger is stepping down as chairman, his replacement has been announced, several entertainment options are returning to Disney parks next year, and there are many more movies and Disney+ projects coming soon.
We’ll be sure to tune in and share all of the big news with you.
