Lots of things have been changing or are set to change in Disneyland.
Soon, 6 different forms of entertainment will be returning to the parks, a special private party IN MICKEY’S HOUSE will become available, and Disney has announced a major Downtown Disney expansion set to take place in the future. Now, we’ve got an update about new shopping opportunities coming to Downtown Disney!
First up, it’s time for soccer fans to rejoice — the new Pelé Soccer store will be officially opening TODAY (December 15th) at Downtown Disney. We had seen the signage for this store previously…
…but today its doors will be OPEN. Did you know, the store is named after Pelé, “the legendary Brazilian superstar and one of the greatest soccer players of all time.”
The stadium-themed store features lots of soccer gear from “renowned global sports brands.” There are official club and national team jerseys, sports apparel, balls, and more. Want a customized gift? You can get that too! Jerseys can be customized with a name and number, giving you the opportunity to score a unique item or really great gift.
There’s a Pelé Soccer store in Disney Springs too, so you’ll be able to visit this spot on both coasts.
If you’re looking for more merchandise, you can stop by the already open Post 21 kiosk. This new spot is located on the east end of Downtown Disney.
Post 21 comes from a mother-daughter team that have “curated modern and design-forward merchandise from Black-owned businesses.” From Black Santa wrapping paper to children’s items, there’s a variety of things to pick from!
If you absolutely love cards (especially elaborate 3D pop-up cards), then you’ll be thrilled to know that Lovepop will be opening soon at Downtown Disney. We’ve already seen the signs indicating this store’s upcoming arrival in the shopping district.
If you’re not familiar with it, Lovepop sells some amazing 3D pop-up cards and stationary in all kinds of fun designs and themes. They have more than 400(!!) designs, including some Disney ones!
There’s a Lovepop store in Disney Springs as well.
And while you’re in Downtown Disney, why not stop by the Boba Fett throne for a photo op?! A replica of the throne that is featured in the new The Book of Boba Fett series is now located outside of the Star Wars Trading Post store.
If you’re planning on visiting Downtown Disney soon, be on the lookout for these new stores and spots. We’ll keep an eye out for more Disneyland news and we’ll let you know what we spot.
