Disney World has had some exciting reopenings lately.
A major ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now up and running, and both Boatwright’s Dining Hall and Story Book Dining are open at their respective Disney World hotels. Even though we’ve seen some reopenings, a few attractions and hotels are still unavailable. Let’s take a look at what’s going to be closed in Disney World next week!
There’s just one ride that’s scheduled to be closed in Disney World next week, and it’s in the Magic Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom
The Walt Disney World Railroad is still closed, and it will likely remain closed for a while.
We’ve seen a few updates about this attraction, including some testing that Cast Members have already begun in the park. Although the railroad closed down due to construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run over in Tomorrowland, Disney took the time to do some refurbishments and other work on the attraction.
There isn’t an opening date for the railroad yet, and it’s likely that the ride won’t open until the construction on the TRON coaster is complete. Disney has not given a completion date for TRON either.

EPCOT
Over in EPCOT’s World Showcase, the gift shop Souk-al-Magreb in the Morocco pavilion is still closed as well.
This gift shop usually sells a variety of colorful souvenirs inspired by Morocco, but it’s been closed for a long time now. Disney’s calendar shows that it will reopen on February 6th, 2022.
The closure could be due to supply issues, which we’ve seen affect other areas in Disney World as well. The Beverly Sunset Boutique in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been closed for a while as well because of a shortage of merchandise.

Disney World Hotels
Almost all of the Disney World hotels have reopened! Just one has remained closed: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. The other All-Star Resorts — Music and Movies — have reopened already.
All-Star Sports was supposed to reopen this month, but Disney pushed back their return due to more refurbishments happening inside the hotel. We’re not sure when this hotel could be back open, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear more updates.

Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the DVC villas are getting some updates, including a new pull-down bed in the living room to allow for more sleeping space.
These refurbishments began in November, and Disney hasn’t announced yet when they’ll be finished.
