Things change so fast in Disney World. There’s new merchandise all the time, and we’re always seeing new construction projects and menu updates in the parks.
Today we’re going to check out the updates in EPCOT, including some new collectible souvenirs, an update on the bee infestation, and big scaffolding in the World Showcase that points to upcoming celebrations.
Our first priority, of course, is the food updates.
EPCOT Food Updates
Club Cool
In the World Celebration section of EPCOT, you can find Club Cool (near the Creations Shop).
This spot has some treats and Coca-Cola merchandise for sale, but the biggest draw is the free samples of soda from around the world.
When we stopped by recently, there was no line at the tasting stations!
This was really surprising, especially since we’ve seen some big holiday crowds elsewhere in the parks. It might be an under-the-radar activity right now, so don’t forget to stop in and trick your family and friends into trying the infamous Beverly drink.
Joffrey’s Kiosks
Recently, there has been a bee problem in EPCOT (and the other Disney World parks) at the Joffrey’s kiosks.
The unwelcome visitors are attracted to the sugary syrups that can be found at the coffee kiosks, and we’ve seen the Cast Members get creative with some solutions. For a while, Cast Members would give guests mini syrup bottles to add to their drinks instead of keeping the open syrup pumps behind the counter.
When we checked at the Joffrey’s cart in the Canada pavilion, the big syrup pumps were back. So it seems like the chaos has died down and one of our favorite coffee stops is back to normal.

EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Now we’re traveling around the park to see what new souvenirs are available.
The Tea Caddy
At the Tea Caddy in the UK pavilion of World Showcase, we found a new spoon rest that has the Twinings Tea logo on it.
You can buy one for $9.99.
Pin Traders
At Pin Traders (located near Spaceship Earth), we spotted a new pin that’s themed after the Harmonious nighttime fireworks show in EPCOT!
You can get one for $12.99.
Gateway Gifts
Across the way, Gateway Gifts had a new mini magnetic Simba plush for $14.99…
…and there was a restock of the Figment shoulder plushes!
The Figment plushes have a magnetic piece that you slip under your shirt at the shoulder, and then you can put the plush on top so he’ll stay right on your shoulder!
Creations Shop
There were a LOT of new items at the Creations Shop. We found the Lion King Wishables collection here, which has Simba, Nala, Timon, Pumba, and Rafiki.
You can buy a mystery pack or get the Simba plush if you don’t want to take your chances.
We also spotted some new nuiMOs plushes, including Chip and Dale…
…and Rapunzel! Each plush is $19.99.
The nuiMOs are poseable and have magnets in their hands, so you can set them in different poses and buy magnetic accessories that they can hold onto.
You can get all kinds of outfits to dress up your nuiMOs, and there were a few new options for the holiday season at the Creations Shop. We saw a fuzzy pink sweater with sparkly pants…
…a holiday lights sweater with candy cane striped pants…
…a fancy outfit with a black blouse and gold skirt…
…a VERY sparkly suit with a matching fedora…
…a gold 2022 outfit for New Years, complete with Minnie ears…
…a very cozy hoodie…
…and a sparkling blue tux.
For all the Marvel fans out there, we saw a Holiday-themed Groot Loungefly bag, with has a detachable wrist strap.
The bag costs $40.
We also saw a bunch of the Mickey Waffle Loungefy mini-backpacks, which we’ve previously spotted at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom.
Creations Shop is a great option if you’re looking for some of the newer Disney merchandise that’s sold out at other gift shops. The Dooney & Bourke collections usually land here, and we’ve seen a lot of holiday merchandise and 50th items here as well.
Disney Traders
At Disney Traders, we saw a new Disney Park Pal!
Now you can get Pua, the adorable side-kick from Moana, for $11.99.

EPCOT Construction Update
During our walk around the park, we noticed several changes and construction projects. There was metal scaffolding up in the UK pavilion…
…and the Italy pavilion in the World Showcase.
These are likely up for New Years Eve festivities, which are right around the corner!
Over at The Seas (located by The Land pavilion), the rock pool is still drained.
This spot usually is filled with water, but it’s occasionally drained for maintenance.
