It’s New Year’s Eve, and we’re ready to celebrate BIG in Disney World!

We’ve got fireworks to watch, dance parties to enjoy, and some delicious snacks to chow down on. And right now, we’re heading to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for a fan-fave — Dole Whip!
Last year, Pineapple Lanai had a pretty spectacular Dole Whip Float for New Year’s Eve, and we’re hoping that they do it again to ring in 2022. We’ve got a hankering for some dessert!

And to our giddy surprise, they’re back again for more! This year, we’ve got the New Year’s Float, made with POG juice, pineapple Dole Whip, popping candy, and pineapple bubbles for $6.49. It’s topped with a tiny umbrella and a white chocolate “2022” topper.

As far as looks go, we think it’s beautiful! With the colorful popping candies and the cute lil’ umbrella, it’s a perfect celebration treat for Polynesian Village Resort.

But the taste is the most important thing here! It was DELICIOUS. How can you go wrong with POG juice and Dole Whip? We received a swirl even though the sign says pineapple, so you may want to say whether you want pineapple or swirl when you order.
We love it!
We didn’t really taste the pineapple bubbles, but we love how the swirl balances the tartness of the pineapple with the vanilla. And the POG juice gave it just the right amount of sweetness. Our only complaint is that we wanted MORE popping candies!

We wish this treat would be around all year — this location offers regular Dole Whip floats so they would just have to switch the pineapple juice for POG juice.
