Festival Food Booths

In 2022, the DCA Food and Wine Festival featured a dozen Festival Marketplaces — aka Food Booths!

These booths, similar to what you find at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, offer appetizer-sized portions of dishes as well as cocktails, beer, and wine.

Additional dining locations in the park — like Pym Tasting Lab and Terran Treats in the new Avengers Campus — also served specialty food and drinks items throughout the event.

Even select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District presented specialty menu items as part of the event!

Dishes include plant-based, allergy-friendly, gluten-friendly and kid-friendly items.

And guests can stir things up at Cocktails at Sonoma Terrace hosted by CORKCICLE® with an expanded menu featuring mixed drinks, craft brews, and a few bites available for purchase! The Paradise Beer Garden also serves craft beers by the glass.

From signature dinners to celebrity chef appearances, there are often lots of special, separately-ticketed Special Events to make your visit to the DCA Food and Wine Festival something extra special.

Disney Chefs and Visiting Chefs

Local, visiting, and Disney chefs share their knowledge at the Festival! For instance, you’ll find a COMPLETE LIST of the presenting chefs coming to the Culinary Demonstrations here.

Low-Cost Culinary Demonstrations and Wine and Beverage Seminars

Receive step-by-step instructions for a recipe, technique, or working with a specific ingredient from the pros! Local, visiting, and Disneyland Resort chefs present these 30-minute lessons, and guests are able to sample the completed creations. Visit our 2022 Low-Cost Seminar and Demonstrations Page, where you can view the full schedules for this year’s events to get an idea of what kinds of options might be available in 2023!

D23 Sip and Stroll 

Not offered in 2022. Stay tuned for 2023 details!

When D23’s Sip and Stroll event is offered, guests begin their journey at the Sonoma Terrace before embarking on a guided tour of the Festival Marketplaces. During this exclusive experience, guests stroll by several of the kiosks and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Food and Wine Festival came together, as well as discover a few fan-favorite returning items, and must-try new additions!

The D23 Sip and Stroll is a separately-ticketed event.

Family-Friendly Presentations and Entertainment

If you have a little pastry-chef-in-the-making (ages 3 – 11), you may want to check out Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party (inspired by Disney Junior’s new animated series Alice’s Wonderland Bakery)!

New in 2022, this cupcake decorating experience featured special guest chefs at the Hollywood Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land, joining live host Rolly Pin and two animated characters from the series, Alice herself and Princess Rosa!

Check the Disneyland App for times. And note that in 2022, participant sign-ups began 45 minutes before each show time, offering space for 32 kids on a first come, first-served basis. 

And what’s a Food and Wine Festival without Chef Goofy??

He often appears at the Hollywood Backlot, so you can say HI!

Festival Entertainment

Be sure to keep an eye — and ear! — out for special Festival entertainment such as live music at Palisades Stage and the Paradise Gardens Bandstand.  Performances at the Palisades Stage include The Filharmonic, Midnight Hour, Phat Cat Swinger, and The Tina Aldana Band.

The Paradise Garden Bandstand hosts acts including the Island Reggae Band and Urban Music Society.

And the Jammin’ Chefs returned for 2022…

… and brought a few Disney pals along for the fun! For all entertainment, check the Disneyland app for exact showtimes!

Festival Merchandise

Commemorate your Food and Wine adventures with event-exclusive merchandise!

Items include kitchenware and apparel.

Pin collectors will have several choices.

And, of course, it’s not a Disneyland Resort event without…

…. specialty Minnie Mouse EARS!

Note that you may find novelty items available for purchase at the Festival Marketplace Booths, as well. For example, in 2002, the Disney Parks Reusable Cutlery Set was available for $10.75.

And your choice of a green or red grapes glow cube charm could be added to any drink for $5.50!

Sip and Savor Pass

The Sip and Savor Pass returned for 2022! The Sip and Savor Pass is a souvenir credential that features eight pull-off tabs for a set price (it was $57.00 in 2022).

Each tab may then be traded for one eligible food item or non-alcoholic beverage at the Festival Marketplaces.

Soarin’ Over California

The Soarin’ Around the World attraction often transforms back to the original Soarin’ Over California version… just for the Festival!

Don’t miss this classic attraction in Grizzly Peak.

Magic Key Holder Perks

While we await the announcement of any special offerings for Disneyland Magic Key Holders for 2023, we’ll explore the perks that have been available for Annual Passholders at previous Festivals.

In previous years, Disneyland Annual Passholders could stop by AP Corner for special fun and more. Some of the Passholder Perks included:

• A special photo opportunity with props and Disney PhotoPass photographers
• Character Greetings and photo opportunities
• Special Food & Wine Festival items available for purchase
• A complimentary collectible art button—limit one per Passholder for event duration, while supplies last
• Device charging station

The AP Corner was located at Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar.

Passholders could also receive a special AP complimentary collectible button at a limit of one per Passholder for event duration, while supplies lasted.
