Eat to the Beat Concerts

Throughout the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, popular bands from recent decades take the stage at the American Gardens Theatre in The American Adventure Pavilion for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

These concerts are free with EPCOT admission, and typically take place three times per evening — at 5:30PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM.

Iconic bands and artists can be seen performing Fridays through Mondays, while local bands performed Tuesday through Thursday evenings in 2022.

Fun for the Whole Family

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt

Guests can expect fun for the whole family at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival including Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt!

In this activity, you’ll go on a scavenger hunt in search of little Remy statuettes hidden all around the park.

The cost to participate in 2022 was $9.99 for your map and stickers to keep track of our little Chef pal.

And once you’ve completed your map marking everywhere you found Remy…

… you can collect your prize!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit — NEW for a Limited Time in 2022!

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, another family-friendly activity which kicked off in the fall, made its debut in 2022! This scavenger hunt began on September 29, 2022 and was available through October 31, 2022.

The pursuit works similar to Remy’s Scavenger Hunt, in that guests can purchase a game board and stickers at select merchandise locations (such as Creations Shop, Port of Entry, and World Traveler at the International Gateway). Only THIS time, you’re searching for hidden PUMPKINS decorated based on Disney characters! In 2022, the price was $9.99.

Find a character, and simply place the corresponding stickers on your board. Next?

Receive a “spooky surprise” by turning in your board at Disney Traders!

Free with EPCOT Admission

Free with EPCOT admission are the Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Festival Passport, and all EPCOT attractions and park entertainment. (Find our COMPLETE GUIDE to EPCOT here!)

Emile’s Fromage Montage

Pick up the suggested items as listed in the Festival Passport for Emile’s Fromage Montage, then receive a prize for completing this Cheese-themed Crawl!

In 2022, guests could choose 5 cheesy dishes out of a possible 10!

Remember, you do NOT have to eat ALL THE CHEESE in one day… unless you want to, of course. 😉

If you have a few days to enjoy the Festival, you can space out your five chosen items over the course of your visits.

Once you’ve tried 5 of the 10 food items and collected your stamps in your Festival Passport, you can head on over to Shimmering Sips for a special prize!

The 2022 prize was a strawberry cheesecake soft serve with a piece of cheesecake on top served in a souvenir cup.

Festival Novelty Items and Gift Cards

Disney Character Sporks (a spoon-and-fork all in one) have become popular Festival novelty items over the past few years. Not only do they make cute and very affordable souvenirs, but they also come in super handy as a reusable utensil as you’re going from Food Booth to Food Booth enjoying your must-try food items.

In 2022, guests could choose to dine with Remy throughout the festival thanks to the NEW Remy Spork! 

Select Marketplace Food Booths in 2022 also sold the CORKCICLE Classic Tumbler!

In 2022, guests could look for the CORKCICLE Classic Tumbler at the following Food Booths: Appleseed Orchard, Flavors from Fire, Refreshment Outpost, Shimmering Sips, and Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina. 

Worried about juggling your wallet or purse while doing a balancing act with your food and drinks from the Food Booths?

You can get a wristlet/ring Disney Gift card at merchandise locations throughout the park! These small gift cards function the same as a regular gift card, but you can strap it on your wrist to avoid having to dig through your wallet or purse while making your Festival food purchases! You can have it activated or loaded at a merchandise location with your desired amount, strap it on, and move towards your next Food Booth, ready to go!

Extra Festival FUN

Chef Daisy

Keep your eyes peeled for the always-stylish Daisy Duck, who often makes appearances near the International Gateway (between the United Kingdom and France pavilions) in her special Food & Wine Festival outfit!

Check the My Disney Experience app to see if Daisy is greeting guests in EPCOT while you’re there.

Mini Food and Wine Festival

If you think that you and us here at the DFB are the only ones excited about the Food and Wine Festival… think again!

If you’ve ever visited the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, you’ve probably noticed the tiny village in the pavilion that has its own miniature train running through it. This little village gets special banners added to its streetlamps for every festival, and now the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival banners have been added to it!

It’s a small touch, but also a great example of some of the extra magic you can enjoy throughout the event!

Food and Wine Festival-Themed Nighttime Lighting at Spaceship Earth

EPCOT’s iconic Spaceship Earth in World Celebration presents a limited-time look and presentation for the Festival!

In 2022, this musical light show was inspired by Beauty and the Beast — specifically, it’s themed to the song, “Be Our Guest!” The show begins when it gets dark outside and plays several times each night.

Food and Wine Festival Disney PhotoPass MagicShots

Disney PhotoPass Photographers can take what might seem like an ordinary shot and make it extraordinary with a touch of magic. You can catch photographers who are just waiting to transform your photos with NEW Magic Shots throughout the Food & Wine Festival!

Festival guests can take advantage of several different photo opportunities — including digitally enhanced MagicShots — all centered around food!

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Special Events

From pairing meals around EPCOT to culinary demonstrations and beverage seminars, several high-end Special Events are often offered at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival! The examples below are from prior Festivals, as Special Events have been on hiatus for the past few years as Walt Disney World has continued in its phased reopening process from the unprecedented closures of 2020.

Party for the Senses is a fantastic EPCOT Food and Wine Festival treat when it is presented!

We look forward to events like Cheese Seminars as well — along with one of our favorite events of past years, the Mexican Tequila Lunch!

Celebrity Chefs

NOTE: Celebrity Chef appearances remained on hiatus for the 2022 Festival. Stay tuned for additional information for 2023 here.

Celebrity Chefs bring extra excitement to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. In previous years, we’ve seen such notables as Carla Hall, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen (and more!) for the “Sunday Brunch with the Chef” series.

We’ll keep you posted on all culinary demos and premium events as well as Disney and visiting chefs in hopes that you can see your favorite chef in coming years!

Florida Blue Medicare Lounge

Looking for a quiet spot to take a break during a busy Festival day? Sponsored by Florida Blue Medicare, the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge could be found at the former location of Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion.

The lounge was open daily from 12PM to 6PM, and a refreshment table of coffee and iced spa water and select activities are available to lounge guests.

Guests could visit for free; however, interested visitors needed to apply for a guest pass through the My Disney Experience app — you can see all the (very easy!) steps here!

Festival Merchandise

A full range of Festival merchandise is available to commemorate your visit to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!

If you would like to gear up for your Festival adventures ahead of time, be aware that several pieces are often also available on shopDisney!

Five Collections were featured for 2022.

These include the 2022 Festival Event Logo Collection.

Naturally, the Collection includes Food and Wine Festival Minnie Mouse Ears!

The Chef Mickey Mouse & Chef Minnie Mouse Collection showcases our favorite chefs cooking up some fun (and some PIZZA!) in the kitchen!

The Princess Tiana Collection was new in 2022!

And finally, EPCOT’s very own Chef Figment invites you to Paint Your Palate PURPLE on various items, too!

We also spotted a new Biergarten collection for the occasion!

And THIS is just a glimpse! From clothing, to kitchenwares, to Disney Pins, and more, there is a LOT to take in!

In addition, look for upscale collections like designer handbags, such as lines by Dooney & Bourke. These tend to sell out quickly, so be on the lookout for items you are interested in.

When shopping during the Festival, check the Creations Shop in World Celebration, as well as other merchandise locations and kiosks around the park for the items, including Port of Entry and World Traveler.

Annual Passholder Exclusive Merchandise and More

The 2022 Festival also featured special commemorative items for Annual Passholders with the Chef Remy Annual Passholder Collection. 

Passholder-exclusive Food and Wine items include T-shirts, pins, and more, including items for the Passholder Tabletop, like platters, pitchers, and more.

How to Book EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Events

NOTE: At this time, Special Events have not yet been announced for the 2023 Festival. Stay tuned for additional information if Special Events are announced at a later date.

Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Golden Oak Residents may be eligible for a $2 discount (per person, per event) for beverage and seminars and culinary demos taking place Mon-Thurs during the festival. These members may also be able to book all special events earlier – watch for dates here. In the past, discounts were by phone only at 407-WDW-FEST (939-3378). Stay tuned to DisneyFoodBlog.com and the Disney Food Blog Newsletter for details.

ALL booking for VIP events and tickets (e.g. premium levels at the Party for the Senses) in previous years had to be booked by phone.
