There’s a lot to love about Disney’s Beach Club Resort. For starters, the sand-bottom pool is pretty amazing, the location could not be any better, and the dining options are SUPER popular!

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, make a reservation at Beaches and Cream and get yourself some ice cream. Hoping to grab a snack by the pool? Visit Hurricane Hanna’s Grill! And we couldn’t forget the real star of the Beach Club Resort: the Cape May Cafe, which serves delicious breakfast foods all morning! But lately, we noticed something strange about the Cape May Cafe, so let’s investigate!🕵️
Thanks to one of our readers, we noticed that we couldn’t book a dining reservation past February 14th at Cape May Cafe!
What’s up, Cape May Cafe?
Taking a look at the reservation system, we saw plenty of times available on the morning of February 14th…

…and the afternoon/evening, too! As you can see, reservations are wide open all day on February 14th.

But the very next day, something odd happened. When we tried to check the availability on February 15th, we received a message that told us there aren’t any reservations available.

Looking ahead to March, we saw the same “no reservations available“ message every day after the 14th of February.

Could this mean some kind of change is coming to the Cape May Cafe? We’ll have to wait and see! Be sure to stay tuned as we continue to monitor the status of this restaurant! Fingers crossed for some good news!🤞

I hope this means they’re going back to a buffet WITH CRAB LEGS included in the price. I was not a fan of the AYCE family style. The food was not good at all. Not even the breakfast. I’m ready for the buffet (with its delicious cod nuggets) to come back!
I’ve noticed this for Coral Reef and Biergarten as well, the 60 day rule doesn’t seem to apply
I noticed that Ale & Compass doesn’t have any breakfast reservations past January 29th either.
We had a lovely breakfast back in August on our last day. Our server Larry, a long time cast member, made it extra special. I hope with these changes that things are well with all the cast members at Cape May.
Was there a reason? It is happening again for August.
Very frustrating.
I still can’t make a reservation 60 days in advance???
I can’t make one either for November 1 and after. I called the dining line number and he was no help and told me that they were completely booked which doesn’t make sense because I did not get a “ look for a different restaurant reservations are taken” I received a no schedule released notification on the Cape May page.
