Price increases happen frequently in Disney World, but today we got a BUNCH of new ones.
Several food items all across Disney World got bumped up in price, including the fan-favorite Dole Whip. And now, it looks like another famous snack is joining that list!
It’s a small change, but based on many of the online menu updates Disney World has made today, it looks as though Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars have gone up in price from $5.69 to $5.99. The same price change was made for Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches as well.
So far, we’ve noticed it on several menus, including Anaheim Produce in Hollywood Studios, World Premiere Food Court, and The Market at Ale & Compass. Your price may vary as you visit different snack stands in Disney World because some locations include tax in their prices, while others don’t. At several snack stands, we noticed a price of $6.25.
It’s not clear whether or not this price change is property-wide yet (the Mickey bar is sold in locations all over Disney World) but we’ll be on the lookout around the parks and resorts. The increase may seem small, but it might affect your family more if you’re buying multiple treats or are on a particularly tight snack budget. We’ll keep checking for other changes today because the online menu updates are still rolling in. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest!

Disney is not for me, my family or friends and we are passing the message throughout the UK whenever we can.
It’s become a total rip off from start to finish, poor overpriced food stupidly priced beverages, overpriced parking and entrance tickets.
Huge waiting times for rides making it impossible to get any value for your money.. Disappointed kids and fed up adults, unhelpful rude staff all agreeing customers are being cheated. Park’s are overcrowded making it impossible to get a fair share of value.
Never again…

I remember when they were $1.25… doesn’t seem that long ago. I would not pay $6 for it now. It saddens me to see what my beloved WDW has become and that’s why I let my pass expire and have not returned in 2 years (we are DVC owners and stayed 3-4 times a year for over 20 years). Now, when we stay at our DVC, we go to Universal or other parts of Orlando. Thinking about selling DVC. It’s just not worth it anymore.

$8 for a box of six very high-quality Mickey Bars or sandwiches at a lot of grocery stores if you can hold off and have yours when you get home or to your hotel. We could even buy them in Maryland. The bars are a little smaller, I think, so you may want two (wink, wink).
$6 orange Dole Whip is reasonably recreatable by pouring a little GOOD orange juice (try $5-6 Coral Reef if you’re near a Publix in FL) over a bowl of orange sherbet from a $3-4 carton. Stir and viola – all the almost-orange-Dole-Whip you can hold – for your entire family – for ten bucks, tops.
For folks in MD or other parts of the Northeast, try a day or two at Hershey Park (Hershey, PA) instead of blowing bank on a WDW trip. We used to do that with our girls when we couldn’t swing a Disney jaunt and never had complaints. There is plenty to do and oh so much chocolate!
WDW does NOT have an exclusive on family fun!!!
