We’ve seen a plethora of food price increases in Disney World today, with everything from Mickey Ice Cream Bars to Dole Whip!
Dole Whip got more expensive!
We’re still getting updates from Disney World with online menus, so we’ll likely learn more information throughout the day, but we’re already seeing some of these changes in effect in the parks. And now, we can add popcorn buckets and refills to that list.Â
As we were scouring the parks today, looking for price updates at various restaurants and snack stands, we spotted some changes when it comes to popcorn buckets, the beloved Disney World souvenir. Previously, the standard buckets were $12 each with $2 refills if you brought it back to a popcorn stand. Now, they’re just a bit more expensive.
More price increases!
At popcorn stands around Magic Kingdom, we noticed that the standard bucket price has gone up to $13 with refills for $2.25. This is not the price for specialty buckets, which are typically more expensive.
The same was true at a stand in Frontierland.
We can’t say for certain whether this change has affected every Disney World popcorn cart yet, so if you encounter one with buckets and refills for cheaper, make sure to take advantage! Disney is still rolling out price increases online and in the parks, so it may take a little while for everything to even out across property, but we’ll keep updating you as we see changes.
