There’s always something new around the corner in Disney World. We’re counting down the days to the grand opening of the new Guardians of the Galaxy attraction and preparing for the Festival of the Arts in EPCOT, but the excitement doesn’t stop there! If you’re a Florida resident looking to experience some of Disney’s current events, like the 50th Anniversary celebration, you’re in luck!
Disney just dropped a MAJOR news bomb just for Florida residents!
There’s a NEW 2022 ticket option available for Florida residents called the Disney Weekday Magic Ticket. As the name implies, this ticket will allow guests to visit the Disney World parks Monday through Friday between January 11 and April 7, 2022. These tickets are subject to blockout dates between March 14-18, according to Disney.
These tickets can be used in one theme park per day, and guests can purchase either a 2-day, 3-day, or 4-day Disney Weekday Magic ticket. The prices range from $149 to $199 (before tax), and proof of Florida residency is required to use these tickets.
You can purchase these new tickets starting tomorrow, January 11th, 2022. Don’t forget to book a Park Pass reservation ahead of time, and make sure to check those blockout dates before your visit. We’ll continue to keep our eyes out for more information on this new ticket option, so stay tuned for more Disney news and park updates.

Have there been any rumblings about when annual passes might come back for non Florida residents? Thanks!
