MagicBands are no longer complimentary at Disney World but select guests can still get discounts on fun MagicBand designs!
SO many MagicBands, so little time…
Although select Disney World guests can get solid color MagicBands for as little as $5 each, they also get access to some unique designs only available to them. And now those select guests have four more exclusive MagicBand designs to choose from!
These MagicBands are now available to Disney World hotel guests, as well as Annual Passholders. By the way, major shoutout to DFB reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for the heads up!
If you’re a Star Wars fan, this one is going to make you Wookie RAWR! It’s a Chewbacca MagicBand — it’s a super cute MagicBand featuring Chewbacca flying on the Millennium Falcon. Look at how much fun he’s having!

The other side of the coral MagicBand features Chewbacca waving at us! Hi, Chewy! This MagicBand is available now to hotel guests and Annual Passholders for $15.

If you’re going straight into Vacation Mode for your Disney World trip (and really, who isn’t?), there’s a MagicBand for that. It’s a Stitch Vacation Mode MagicBand. The yellow MagicBand features palm trees on one side…

…with a sketch of Stitch enjoying some fun in the sun on the other. You can grab this MagicBand for $20.

Okay, the next one is a character we don’t see on a lot of merchandise, so this one might be worth snagging up. It’s a Jiminy Cricket MagicBand. And it’s got Jiminy on it to remind you to always use your conscience as a guide.

Finally, there’s a brand new Mickey Mouse MagicBand, too, and this one is the Blue Plaid MagicBand because it’s well…plaid! And of course, there’s Mickey sporting a blue plaid shirt on it — he looks VERY dapper.

How do I order the 5 dollar bands?
Any updates about the interactive ones? I was really hoping they would be available for our trip at the end of the month
Hi Tyler! As of right now, Disney has not issued an exact release date on the interactive Magic Bands except that they will make their debut in 2022. We’re always keeping up with the latest Disney news, however, and will update our readers as soon as we get word on a release date. 🙂

I am soooo excited – we are travelling from the UK and have 86days 5hrs and 30mins till we fly out!!! Parks are booked and waiting for window to open for dining reservations…but can I order magic bands in advance ? I know I can buy them in resort but would love to have selected them in advance! Any advice??? Many thanks
