While EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is just a couple of days away, we also have our sights set on the following festival, the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!
The springtime festival doesn’t kick off until March 2nd, but we’re already starting to learn a little more about how the festival is shaping up this year.
Every year, we eagerly await to see what changes are brought to each of the EPCOT Festivals. Usually we get a few new booths as well as new merchandise (we’re looking at you, Figment Popcorn Bucket). But the more we learn about this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, the more we can’t help but notice a lot of familiar offerings.
Granted, EPCOT usually brings back most of the festival’s food booths each year. But the list of booths for the 2022 Flower and Garden Festival looks an awful like the EXACT SAME list of booths from the 2021 Flower and Garden Festival!
In fact, we only saw the slightest of changes from Disney’s recent announcement of the food booths featured at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival. We don’t see Festival Favorites, which was a booth from last year’s festival…
…and the Morocco booth appears to have been renamed from Taste of Marrakesh to Tangierine Cafe: Taste of the Medina (which is very similar to the name that this booth will have for this year’s Festival of the Arts).
But other than those small adjustments…it almost feels like Disney just “copied” and “pasted” last year’s booth list to this year.
What else is returning to this year’s Flower and Garden Festival? Over in the American Adventure Pavilion, guests can enjoy the Garden Rocks Concert Series, which is back for the first time since March of 2020 (which was the year Disney World squeezed in only a couple of weeks of Flower and Garden before the resort’s temporary closures began). Garden Rocks Dining Packages will be returning as well.
Flower and Garden is also where you’ll find beautiful and colorful topiaries around the park…and like food booths and merchandise, there are usually a couple of new additions each year (we’ll see if that’s the case for 2022!).
We’ll also see return of Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration as well as the Health Full Trail at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival!
Guests can also participate in the Garden Graze, which brings you around to different festival booths to try five dishes, and if you try them all, you’ll earn a prize. But with the food booths mimicking 2021’s Flower and Garden Festival, we can’t help but wonder how similar the menu items will look, and consequently, the Garden Graze challenge!
We’ll continue to keep a close watch on the full list of booths from this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, and we will let you know if we see any changes! Be sure to follow along for more of the latest news and updates from around Disney World.

I wonder why the continually put the dining plan logo next to food, even if it is a menu for a festival… that is supposed to change yearly? I will miss using snack credits for festival eats!

I’m most interested in NEW topiaries and innovative displays. Hopefully Disney follows through!
