2022 has only just begun, and there’s already a ton of exciting happenings around Disney World — for example, EPCOT just kicked off its first festival of the year, the Festival of the Arts! If you’re getting ready to take a trip to the parks next week, there will surely be plenty to see and do.
Let’s take a look at the park hours and current Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of January 16th! Keep in mind that Monday, January 17th is a holiday, so you may see a bump in crowds at the beginning of the week!
Disney World Park Hours the Week of January 16th
Magic Kingdom will be open the week of January 16th from 9AM-10PM on Sunday, from 9AM-9PM Monday through Friday, and from 9AM-11PM on Saturday. The park will remain open for an additional two hours past closing time on Wednesday, January 19th (9PM-11PM) for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts.
EPCOT will be open daily next week from 10AM-9PM. The park will remain open for an additional two hours after closing (9PM-11PM) on Monday, January 17th for guests staying at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. As you can see below, next week is the first full week of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! The festival will be open daily the same hours as the park.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily next week from 9AM-9PM.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open next week from 8AM-8PM on Sunday, Monday, and Saturday, and from 9AM-7PM Tuesday through Friday.
As a reminder, if you are staying at any Disney World resort hotel, then you’re eligible for Early Theme Park Entry! While only guests at Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts get those extra two hours at night on select days, ALL Disney World resort guests can enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes prior to the posted opening time every day!

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of January 16th
Select Resort Hotels
As of this writing, Park Pass Reservation availability seems to be wide open across all three ticket types! For those guests staying at Select Resort Hotels, Park Pass reservations are available each day of the week at all four theme parks.
Theme Park Tickets
Similarly, guests with Theme Park Tickets (those not staying at the Select Resort Hotels) may currently book a Park Pass Reservation for any day next week at any of the four theme parks.
Annual Passholders
Annual Passholders also have wide-open Park Pass Reservation availability next week! They may book a Park Pass Reservation at any of the four parks for each day.
Keep in mind that this may change! Park Pass Reservation availability can fluctuate on a day-to-day basis, and since the week of January 16th is starting with a holiday weekend, we may start to see less Park Pass Reservation availability in certain parks. If you have yet to book your Reservations, you should do so ASAP! Be sure to check back ahead of your next Disney World vacation to keep up on the latest news and announcements.
