Long lines at Disney World are to be expected from time to time, but we’re noticing more long lines this morning in the parks than usual (and we aren’t talking about the rides!).
We’re in EPCOT today covering the first day of the Festival of the Arts, where one Cast Member estimated a 6 1/2 HOUR (yes, hours) wait for the new Figment popcorn bucket. But we also have a reporter in Magic Kingdom today who spotted ANOTHER long line!
Gaston’s Tavern is a great go-to breakfast spot in Magic Kingdom! Starting off your morning with one of their tasty warm Cinnamon Rolls is an excellent way to kick off any park day.
If you’re looking for one of those Cinnamon Rolls this morning, however, you’re going to have to wait a while. Take a look at the line outside of Gaston’s Tavern! We hopped in line to see just how long the wait was (plus, we were craving a fresh, warm Cinnamon Roll!).
Once we got inside, a Cast Member told us that Gaston’s Tavern was serving hot cocoa today, which might be one reason why the line grew so long! Combined with a morning rush of guests looking for something to eat for breakfast and you have a recipe for a pretty long line! Each of the counters were operating, so once it was our turn to order, we got our food super fast. All in all, we waited just shy of 20 minutes!
We also grabbed a LeFou’s Brew, because when in “Rome,” one orders a LeFou’s Brew! Pro tip: LeFou’s Brew is sold for $12.99 with a souvenir stein, but if you already have the cup or you don’t want to spend the extra cash, you can order the drink by itself for half the price at $6.29!
