Disneyland is home to some iconic snacks, like DOLE Whip, that amazing Monte Cristo, and — of course — churros.

Another snack that you absolutely should NOT miss out on is Mickey beignets! These can be found in both Disneyland and Disney World, and we’re heading to the West Coast today to check out some NEW flavors.
We’re dancin’ down to New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park today, because the newest beignets can be found at the Mint Julep Bar.
Mint Julep Bar
The Butter Cookie Mickey Beignets are new to the menu here, and they sound amazing. These are classic beignets coated in Shortbread Cookie–flavored powdered sugar, and you can get a cookie butter dipping sauce on the side. A 3-pack is $5.49, or you can get 6 for $8.99. The dipping sauce is an extra $0.89.

On their own, these beignets were pretty good! There wasn’t actually a lot of cookie butter taste to them (we wanted that sweet flavor that you get from the airplane cookies — you know what we mean? Those are the best). So by themselves they were pretty much normal beignets.

But the game-changer was that dipping sauce. Y’ALL.
The SAUCE is where it’s at
This sauce is incredible. Once we dipped the beignet in the cookie butter sauce, everything changed. We got a strong cinnamon/gingerbread type taste from it, and it made us very happy.

Surely these can’t be even better than the OG Mickey beignets…right? We’re afraid to say that. But it might be true. 😬

We sought these beignets out last night after dinner at Cafe’ Orleans. I didn’t taste a difference in the beignets themselves, or the powdered sugar on its own but you ABSOLUTELY have to get the cookie butter sauce. It was like taking a speculoos cookie and making it into cinnamon roll frosting. (hmmmmm now that’s a good idea). Somehow, I managed to have dipping sauce leftover and couldn’t waste it, so I used my impeccably clean finger to scoop the rest out and eat it. This a homerun for Disneyland. I hope it becomes an always available option at the Mint Julep Bar.
