Gideon’s Bakehouse

On January 16th, Gideon’s Bakehouse released their VERY limited, one-day-only Gideon’s Banana Flip in honor of their one-year Disney Springs anniversary! This special treat was made of light vanilla spongecake wrapped into banana buttercream, aka a banana cake taco.

You might have missed out on this one-day treat, but you can still enjoy the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie and Banana Nitro Cold Brew during the month of January at Gideon’s!

Still have a craving for banana baked goods? The exclusive Gideon’s Banana Bread Chocolate Cake was originally available only on January 9th, but this past weekend it was made available again at both Gideon’s locations. The Banana Bread Chocolate Cake is a three-layer vanilla cake made with Gideon’s house-made banana syrup, and yes, it’s as delicious as it sounds.

In between each cake layer is a thick layer of banana buttercream and mini chocolate chips, and the outside of the cake is coated with chocolate chips and candied walnuts. If you’re hoping to try a slice, it all depends on how long supplies last at Gideon’s!

Vivoli il Gelato

Vivoli il Gelato just released a new milkshake called the Carver’s Peanut Butter Explosion, which comes with an entire chocolate peanut butter cake on top! Talk about a 2 in 1 treat.

The milkshake is made with peanut butter gelato and chocolate sauce, layered with whipped cream and crushed peanuts for $19.96. We loved the chocolate and peanut butter cake but this is a pricey milkshake, so make sure you’re a fan of those flavors before buying!

And that’s not all for Vivoli il Gelato! They also released their new Rosé Sangria, which is $17.04. It’s made with a sangria rosé containing strawberry sorbetto, orange gelato, SanPellegrino limonata, and Terre Di Bacco Rosé Prosecco. We also got a candy orange slice garnish!

This drink reminded us of summer, and it was more of a float than a drink with a scoop of orange gelato inside. It was tasty, but it’s also pretty pricey for the amount of drink you get!

The Polite Pig

One of our fave BBQ joints in Disney Springs, The Polite Pig, just announced their new dish, the Bone-in Smoked Pork Chop, made with Apple & Spice Brine, Brown Sugar & Cinnamon BBQ Rub, Apple Chutney (made with Pecans, Apple, Cherries, Cranberries, Blueberries & Cinnamon) with a bed of tasty Black Eyed Peas.

The Bone-in Smoked Pork Chop is the new Chef’s Special for The Polite Pig, and you can head over to the Disney Springs location to try it now!

There’s also a Hercules Jersey for $59.99, with Herc and ’97 on the front…

And we also spotted this small HOME Sign, complete with a Cinderella Castle silhouette in place of the letter “O.”

Star Wars Galactic Outpost

Star Wars Galactic Outpost had a new blue Long-sleeve Droid Top featuring some favorite droids, like R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Uniqlo has released a new Disney Memories Collection, full of some pretty new pastel clothes.

And this week we found a secret spot to get princess makeovers in Disney Springs! While Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is still unavailable, little princesses can visit Sephora for Feature Focus Service makeovers.

This is just for a makeup look, so keep in mind that your little princess will probably want to bring their own princess dress. But give it a try if it sounds like something fun for your family!
