It’s no secret that Disney World can cost a pretty penny!
And, it’s only getting MORE expensive it seems with HUNDREDS of price increases around the parks rolling out in early 2022, too. But, rest assured — you CAN do Disney World on a budget and still have a great time, you just gotta plan! So, we’re here to help and tell you the best budget-friendly lunches in Disney World!
1. Sleepy Hollow
Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom has some delicious food that won’t break the bank! For lunch, you can grab the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich for $11.59 which has Broccoli Slaw and a Honey-Sriracha Glaze. It’s also served with House-made Chips.
And you can grab the amazing Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich for $8.49.
It’s a big waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread (Nutella) and Strawberries, Bananas, and Blueberries!
2. Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe
Over at Yak & Yeti’s quick service location in Animal Kingdom, you can grab a decent lunch actually from the sides on the menu. The Chicken Fried Rice is $7.99 and is a great little lunch!
This is a good option if you’re on the go and don’t want to sit down for a full meal.
3. Woody’s Lunch Box
A lot of the lunch entrees at Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios are good options if you’re on a budget. You can get the BBQ Brisket Melt for $13.29 (and split it with a friend for an even better value!) or the Smoked Turkey Sandwich for $10.79.
Also over here are the “Totchos,” which are Potato Barrels coated with Beef and Bean Chili, Shredded Cheese and signature Queso with Tomatoes and Corn Chips finished with Sour Cream and a sprinkle of Green Onions.
This is a filling option for only $10.49 and they also come in a plant-based version!
4. The Fountain
The Fountain over at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel is probably Disney World’s cheapest sit-down restaurant! It serves classic American diner food and the starters and shareables like Cheese Fries and Soft Pretzel Bites that run around $8.50.
Their burgers and sandwiches are also priced lower than most table service restaurants in Disney World, ranging from $12 to $20. You can get things like a Grilled Chicken BLT, the Original Burger, or a Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese.
5. Earl of Sandwich
Located in Disney Springs, Earl of Sandwich is a superb lunch spot. Their sandwiches are between $7.99 to $8.99 apiece and include things like a French Dip, the Earl’s Club, or a Hawaiian BBQ.
There’s also a variety of wraps and salads available for just $8.99.
6. Chicken Guy!
Also in Disney Springs, Chicken Guy! is a great place for a midday meal! This is Guy Fieri’s chicken tender joint where you can get 3 chicken tenders for $5.99 or 5 chicken tenders for $7.99, and they all come with two signature sauces (of which they have over 20!).
There are also sandwiches available like the Sauce Boss for just $6.99 or the Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ for $7.99.
7. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
Over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you’ll find Beaches & Cream, which is styled like an old soda shop and has delicious ice cream creations you can try out! But, they also have food you can eat for lunch and it’s budget-friendly compared to other sit-down spots in Disney World.
You can get a Reuben Sandwich for $19 or a Grilled Cheese with Creamy Tomato Soup for $16.
There are also filling sides available like Chili and Cheese Tots or Cheese and Bacon Tots for $9 each.

8. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
If you’re looking for a good sandwich, check out Les Halles in the France pavilion of EPCOT! They have things like a Brie au Pommes (a lovely brie & apple sandwich) for $10, a croissant with ham and cheese for $8.95, or a chicken pesto sandwich for $10.50!
Plus, they have delicious pastries you can grab too if you want something sweet!
9. Casey’s Corner
Casey’s Corner is pretty budget-friendly, but one of the best options to grab is the Corn Dog Nuggets! You can get these for $10.79 and they come with a side of fries.
It’s a good amount of food for sure! And, you can also add on a side of plastic cheese (AKA liquid gold) for $1. Grab a free cup of water and you’re good to go!

(1) Can’t believe you didn’t mention Columbia Harbor House! I would list it in my top 3.
(2) I think of The Fountain as a “Beaches and Cream Clone”. Although not as good as the original, it’s a worthy substitute.

Friar’s Nook and Flame Tree BBQ.

While I loved the BBQ sandwich at Woody’s, there wasn’t enough to share with someone else without being hungry after lunch. It was rather a small sandwich!
