We’re celebrating a very exciting occasion today — the start of the Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure!
This fest runs from January 21st-February 13th, and we’re pretty pumped about some of the offerings that are available in 2022. Today, we finally get the chance to eat some of that yummy food, and we’re bringing you along!
One of the places you can get special eats during the festival is at the Paradise Gardens Special Event Cart. And that’s our next stop!
Our mouths are already watering, so let’s check out their list of offerings.
Menu
There are several items on the menu here, with everything from wings to street corn to BBQ nachos! There’s a little of something for everyone.
And if you’re interested in something sweet, you can try the Orange-flavored Cotton Candy or the Mango-Pineapple Pie. To drink, they’ve got the Puffed Rice Pale Ale along with the Mulan Sipper.
Food
So what’s on our list to try? First up, we’ve got the Asian-style Street Corn, which is steamed corn on the cob rolled in spicy gochujang sauce. It’s brand-new to the festival this year!
You can nab this snack for $6 and you get an ear of corn. The corn came in a bag with melted butter, and was honestly very messy. There was nothing too special about the spicy flavor, but a full ear of corn for $6 isn’t bad for a snack that size!
We also wanted to grab the Gochujang Wings, which were chicken wings in spicy Gochujang sauce. They were $8 and they were delicious!!
The meat came right off of the bone, and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice! We would definitely get these again, and we were so excited to try them today!

Overall
So should you make a stop by this booth during your trip to the Lunar New Year Festival? Well, all in all, we loved the wings, and even though there was nothing too exciting about the street corn, it’s still a pretty hefty snack for just $6! Kelsey Darden says
The foodie guide says the have the Korean BBQ Style nachos at this cart, I assumed it was a mistake since they are listed again under Lamplight and I don’t see them on the sign above, can you confirm they don’t sell them there? Thank you!
