Some may consider January to be a slower season in Disney World, but if this week’s crowds are any indication, things are as active as ever around the parks and resorts!
How else do we know Disney World is full of new offerings? We have a full lineup of updates to share from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Let’s dive in and see what’s new since our last visit.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Food Updates
Kat Saka’s Kettle
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge took full advantage of the fact that it was National Popcorn Day recently by announcing a super-secret popcorn mix would be available to guests if they were able to provide a secret phrase to Cast Members! We visited Kat Saka’s Kettle and asked, “Have you seen a mouse?” to receive the secret mix — which turned out to be a mixture of their existing Blue Buttered Grains and Outpost Popcorn Mix!
In addition to trying the mixture of both popcorn flavors, it comes served in a souvenir MSE-6 Droid popcorn bucket!
The whole package comes out to $19.99, so if you’re in the mood for one of Disney World’s more unique snacks, or if you’re on the hunt for some park-exclusive merchandise, head over to Kat Saka’s Kettle from now through the end of February to try out this not-so-secret mix!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios General Updates
Over in Toy Story Land, we noticed that the gift shop located along the exit from Toy Story Mania has closed. We’ve noticed several small shops and kiosks close temporarily in recent weeks, but this closure, in particular, caught our attention.
Recently, Disney announced that Toy Story Land would get a new shop this year called Jessie’s Trading Post. Could it be that the new shop will be located in this spot as guests exit Toy Story Mania? Or will it be located closer to the highly-anticipated restaurant, Roundup Rodeo BBQ (also opening in 2022)?
We’ll keep checking in on this shop and we’ll let you know as we learn more details!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Merchandise Updates
Keystone Clothiers
It’s no secret that Grogu is one of the most highly sought-after characters in the Disney universe these days, so we’re constantly on the lookout for more “Baby Yoda” goodies! Over in Keystone Clothiers, we spotted a Grogu Funko Pop for $14.99, and he’s holding one of his favorite treats!
Equally as popular as Star Wars these days is the Marvel Cinematic Universe! If you’re all caught up on the Disney+ series What If…?, then you’ll want to check out this Doctor Strange Supreme doll!
The toy is currently available at Keystone Clothiers for $24.99.
Mickey’s of Hollywood
We found several new pieces of apparel for Mickey and Minnie fans of all ages at Mickey’s of Hollywood. First is this cozy-looking pint quilted Minnie Mouse Jacket for $59.99 — perfect for those chilly temperatures we’ve seen in Florida lately!
For the littlest Mickey fans, we spotted this “A New Point Of View” Mickey Mouse youth sweatsuit. The top is $39.99…
…and the matching sweatpants are $29.99.
For adults, we found the adorable new Mickey and Minnie rainbow sweatshirt for $49.99.
And to stay comfortable and warm around the clock, we found these Mickey Mouse spot-dyed sweatpants for $49.99.

Majestic Theater
If you’re a fan of S.E.A., otherwise known as the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, then you’ll definitely want to check out the newest t-shirt to arrive in Disney World: an Adventurers Club t-shirt!
Adventurers Club was a themed nightclub located in Pleasure Island in the old Downtown Disney District (now known as Disney Springs). The club had deep ties to S.E.A., which is an organization created by Disney Imagineers. Oh, and did we mention that this t-shirt has major vintage School House Rock vibes? It’s available for $36.99!
Also spotted at Majestic Theater is this Animal Hoodie for $59.99.
Today is an awfully good day to be a Muppets fan or an Adventurers Club fan!

There’s no shortage of new Mickey and Minnie Ears available, and over at Tatooine Traders, we found a new pair that’s perfect for Star Wars fans! These Light-Up Lightsaber Ears fully embrace both the Light and the Dark Side!
The ears are available for $22. We spotted a few new t-shirts in Tatooine Traders as well on a recent visit! The first is a raglan-style 3/4 length sleeve shirt that reads “The force is with you.” It retails for $36.99.
The next t-shirt is a diagram of all of the Star Wars creatures who at one point or another tried to eat Luke Skywalker! It’s available at Tatooine Traders for $29.99.
The third t-shirt is a solid black tee with an illustration of Han Solo, and it includes his iconic and oh so romantic quote, “I know.” It retails for $24.99.
You can add a ton of new shirts to your Star Wars wardrobe when you stop by Tatooine Traders!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Finally, we wanted to give you a little update on the inventory situation that’s been happening over at Galaxy’s Edge. A few weeks ago, we noticed that a few stores had been running low on both merchandise as well as packaging. Legacy Lightsabers were out of stock in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, carrying cases at Savi’s Workshop were no longer provided as part of your purchase, and Droid Depot carrying case boxes were also out of stock!
On our recent visits, we noticed a few changes! First, Legacy Lightsabers are beginning to reappear at Dok-Ondar’s. So far, we’ve spotted the Darksaber back in stock…
…along with a few additional Legacy Lightsabers as well!
Second, we spotted the Droid Depot carrying case boxes back in stock as well!
Savi’s Workshop was still providing plastic bags to guests on our recent visits (with a 10% discount off the total price from their experience), or guests could purchase a carrying case for $50. In addition to these restocks, we also spotted a new souvenir to pick up on your next trip to Batuu: a Datapad phone case with interchangeable parts!
You can use the spare parts interchangeably with the phone case to customize its look.
The phone case retails for $44.99 and we spotted it at the merchandise kiosk outside of Rise of the Resistance! We’ll continue to keep an eye on all of the merchandise in Galaxy’s Edge and we’ll let you know if we see any additional changes.
