Not everyone is aware of the numerous allergy and special diet accommodations Disney World offers.
Whether you have a gluten, egg, fish, milk, tree nut, or soy allergy, Disney has dishes for you! Today we gave an allergy-friendly classic theme park dish a try, and it’s a delicious option for people who can’t eat gluten! Check out our review.
We visited Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom to take a break today and eat some classic chicken nuggets, but we decided to try something slightly different.
We ordered the allergy-friendly Gluten- and Wheat-Free Chicken Breast Nuggets for $10.29! If you’re placing a Mobile Order, you can click on the allergy menu to find this dish.
When you order an allergy-friendly dish, an allergy Cast Member will hand it to you, rather than the regular Cast Member at the window. You’ll be handed your dish on a green tray (instead of the usual brown), and your food is placed in white containers to differentiate them. The fries are cooked in the same oil as the nuggets to avoid cross-contamination!
We loved these Gluten-Free Chicken Breast Nuggets!! They had an incredible crunch factor and they weren’t too greasy. It seemed like there actually might be a bit more chicken since they’re less breaded than the regular nuggets, but we can’t say that for sure.
They’re made fresh-to-order, so the positive is that they’re SUPER hot and fresh, but you might have to wait a bit longer for your food when you order. NGL. Our reporter actually liked them more than the regular chicken nuggets! Also, make a note that the gluten-free nuggets are actually the SAME price as the regular nuggets, so you’re not paying more. Most of the time, you’ll find gluten-free options more expensive.
If you’re looking for a gluten- and wheat-free chicken tender option in Disney World, give these a try! Even if you’re not, we suggest giving them a try. They are crispy and delish. 😍 Keep reading DFB for more Disney World allergy-friendly food reviews!

I had these on my trip last month! It’s been YEARS since I have had breaded nuggets/strips and these did not disappoint! My daughter doesn’t have to eat gluten free like I do and she said she preferred them over regular as well. Big win!

Hi DFB
Thank you for reviewing gluten free food at Disney, as a Coeliac it is difficult to find reviews and you have to search the internet and You Tube. Hopefully DFB will do GF food review for the booths at Epcot Garden Festival this year, we will (fingers crossed) be over from the UK and I am hoping to try some different GF food there!
Many thanks, Janet.

I got so excited when I saw gluten free content. There is such a large community of people trying to dine in Disney with allergies. It would be so great if you could review more items from the gluten free/allergen friendly menus!
