Parking has CHANGED for the 2022 Princess Half Marathon at Disney World

Races at Disney World through runDisney have returned in the past year, but that doesn’t mean changes to the races can’t still happen.

We saw some awesome runners during the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, as well as during the recent Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in January. The next race weekend coming up is the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend from February 24th through the 27th, and there has been a recent change that runners need to know about!

Runners participating in the Princess Half Marathon on Sunday, February 27th, will now be parking at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then take bus transportation to EPCOT, where the race will start. You can see more info on the change below.

So, self-parking will not be available at EPCOT on Sunday for runners or spectators. This change only applies to the Half Marathon on Sunday, not the 5K or the 10K.

Runners at Animal Kingdom for Marathon Weekend 2022

Disney has also said that people staying at the Magic Kingdom Resorts are encouraged to use the Monorail to get to the Half Marathon on Sunday. This only applies on Sunday — the Monorail will not be available for the 5K or the 10K.

And, on Sunday from 4:30AM — 7:30AM, there will not be access to runner drop-off or pick up due to road closures. Also note that there is no Skyliner transportation to/from EPCOT during the race weekend.
