We just keep learning more and more about the Star Wars Hotel, AKA Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
We recently got a look at the full schedule for a potential trip, a map of the “ship,” and Disney released clothing for the guests who are booked for an upcoming journey. And now, we have a new look at the hotel from above! But, we need to warn you, if you don’t want the magic of the Star Wars hotel experience to be revealed to you, turn back now.
Twitter user @bioreconstruct just shared aerial images of the new hotel, including a look at the transport vehicles between the Galactic Starcruiser and Galaxy’s Edge (or the planet below the ship, Batuu). Here’s a look at the whole hotel from above.

Follwing that arrow in the above picture, this is where guests will get on to a trasnport shuttle to be taken to Batuu from the Starcruiser. The trucks have a simulation inside, according to @bioreconstruct.
And, here’s a look (follow the arrow) at where the shuttle will drop off and pick up Starcruiser guests at Galaxy’s Edge.
If we look closer, we can see that there’s a long transfer corridor from the shuttle into Galaxy’s edge that is mostly open air, with things dangling down from the top of the structure.
Here is where this transport corridor is in relation to Galaxy’s Edge.
As a reminder, this is what the end of that corridor looks like where it connects to Galaxy’s Edge.
We’ll be on the lookout for more images of the Galactic Starcruiser as the grand opening gets closer and closer, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Ken says
The truck does not look very inspiring. With seating, can’t hold more than 20 travelers, that would mean 10 trips each way at a time of approx 10 minutes per travel time plus another 10 minutes to load and unload would take approx. 200 minutes each day to move the 200 guests from the hotel to the point of entry/departure at the park. Logistically, this is a scheduling nightmare.
Steve says
Much like buses, I’m sure they have more than one simulation truck.
