Disney World has been all out of sorts lately! Most of us visit Disney World in the wintertime expecting to ESCAPE cold weather! Let’s face it, the novelty of snow wears off pretty quickly, and lots of people flock to Florida in January and February to avoid chilly weather! Lately, though, it’s been pretty cold in Disney World — and more crowded than usual for this time of year, too!
The weather has been a little all over the place lately, so be prepared to pack layers! Now, let’s take a look at next week’s weather forecast in Disney World!
Weather Forecast
Now that it’s February, we’re hoping that this month is a little warmer than last month. Last week, the temperature reached a high of 80°, with lows in the 50s and 60s. This week, the average is back in the 60s.
If you don’t mind wearing pants and a jacket, you might be happy with the weather forecast for next week! According to The Weather Channel, you can expect your days to be pretty cool and partly cloudy for the second week of February, with lows hovering around the low 50s throughout the week.
February 7th
Monday, February 7th looks pretty nice! The temperature will be close to 70° during the day but will go down to around 50° in the evening. We’ve seen it get MUCH colder at night, so a 52° low is pretty good!
It looks like there might be a little bit of wind throughout the day. The best way to combat a chilly breeze is to wear long sleeves; protect your skin!
February 8th
On Tuesday, February 8th, the weather looks pretty similar to the previous day! We’re seeing about the same low chance of precipitation and similar humidity predictions. If you ask us, this looks like ideal hot tub weather!
There’s a low chance of rain pretty much all day, but with a high likelihood for cloudy conditions, you never know when it might decide to sprinkle! We always recommend packing an umbrella, poncho, or rain jacket just in case.
February 9th
On Wednesday, February 9th, we’re starting to see a pattern! The high for the day is 67°, and the low is 54°, which should make for another nice day in Disney World! If the rest of the week stays like this, you’ll be in for a great vacation!
Keep in mind that the wind can really impact how it feels outside! Even on a sunny 67° day, the wind can make it feel much cooler.
February 10th
On Thursday, February 10th, the temperature reaches 70°, which is the highest temperature we’ve seen so far this week! The low is 52°, with a low chance of rain pretty much all day.
So far, it’s shaping up to be a great week in Disney World!
February 11th
For Friday, February 11th, the evening is predicted to have the coolest night of the week so far at 50°. Don’t forget to check on the humidity predictions, too! The Florida humidity can make the air feel a little warmer.
You may have noticed that the forecast calls for cloudy weather every day of the week. This doesn’t necessarily mean it will be dark and overcast all week long; you’ll likely see plenty of blue skies throughout the week.
February 12th
By now, you can probably get a pretty good sense of what to expect on Saturday, February 12th! There’s a 24% chance of precipitation all day, winds at around 5-10 miles per hour, and humidity in the high 50 to low 70% range. You know, the same old! By this point in your vacation, you’ll probably be used to this weather.
Even though the weather might seem too cold for swimming, you might still want to consider packing a bathing suit! Disney’s pools are all heated, and the hot tubs are (obviously) nice and warm!
February 13th
Finally, Sunday, February 13th ends the week with a high of 70° and a low in the evening of 50°. Look at those nice round numbers!
As long as the forecast doesn’t change too drastically between now and February 13th, it sounds like the weather will be pretty comfortable! Depending on what you’re used to, the weather might feel cool or it might feel warm — the 60s/70s are a pretty subjective temperature range.
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week from The Weather Channel. The temperature will range between 64-70 degrees during the day, then drop to the 50s at night. Keep in mind that these predictions might change, but for now, this overview should give you a good idea of what to expect.
We checked a few other websites, like Click Orlando News 6…
…and WESH 2 News. It looks like everyone is reporting similar forecasts.
Remember that Florida weather can be unpredictable! Keep your eyes on the forecast prior to your trip (and while you’re in Disney World) so you know what to expect each day.
How Should You Plan?
Now, let’s look at a few ways you prepare for the week ahead!
Pack a jacket!
While hoodies, long sleeve shirts, and pullovers are all great options for this time of year, we like to recommend jackets because of their versatility. You can zip them up to conserve heat, leave them open, or even roll up the sleeves if you’re feeling warm! We love options!
For our DFB readers who’ve been here for a while, this tip is no surprise; we tend to recommend layers to anyone and everyone who will listen. It’s just good sense!

Visit a fire pit
Can’t shake the cold? Some of Disney’s hotels have fire pits scattered around outside! These are great for roasting marshmallows with the kids, but they offer the bonus of keeping people warm in the winter!
Be sure to check out your Disney hotel’s resort activities for the week; roasting marshmallows is a popular activity!
