Let’s just say we were surprised by the brutally cold weather (okay, so it DOES get cold in Florida, and we were FREEZING) and the crowds unlike what we’ve seen before this time of year. We checked out the VERY Insta-Worthy new Valentine’s Day treat at Gasparilla Island Grill. It’s the Chocolate Cherry Blondie Pop, which is a yellow cake with chocolate chips and cherries coated in dark chocolate and topped with sprinkles and a white chocolate drizzle.

And it tastes as good as it looks! We found it pretty tasty, but if you’d like to try it for yourself, pick it up now for $5.99 — it will be available through February 15th.

Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort Food Updates

Scat Cat’s Club

We had to head on over to Scat Cat’s to be reunited with two returning treats: the Cinnamon Valentine’s Day Mickey Beignet and the Baton Rouge Beignets. Both snacks are SO MUCH FUN! The Cinnamon Valentine’s Day Mickey Beignet is a Mickey-shaped beignet topped with cinnamon candy drizzle and Valentine’s Day quins, along with crushed cinnamon candies for $3.49.

The Valentine’s Day Baton Rouge Beignets are served with a pipette of cinnamon whiskey and they are delicious!

Horsedrawn carriage rides have returned! We saw signs AND confirmed it with a Cast Member. Each ride is $55.
