It’s Valentine’s Day — the holiday of love! We LOVE Animal Kingdom, so we go over to the park a lot to check out what’s new.
Recently, we’ve seen the return of a beloved character, some new food items, and a major ride closure. So, let’s check out what’s new at Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
Finding Nemo
The sign over at Finding Nemo: The Musical was covered.
The musical is currently closed to be reimagined and should debut sometime this year.
DINOSAUR
The dinosaur outside of the ride DINOSAUR in DinoLand U.S.A. has been repainted!
But, there still isn’t any water below him.
Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Discovery Trading Company
Inside Discovery Trading we found this new Mickey towel and this new Minnie towel, each for $19.99!
We also saw this Chewbacca pen, which was surprisingly very heavy, and kind of weird. Like, can you actually write with this thing?! You can get him for $12.99.
The tiki Loungefly wallet is available in here for $50. We saw it last week at Hollywood Studios, but haven’t seen it over here yet!
There’s a new Minnie baby onesie…
…and a Jessie baby onesie, both for $19.99 each.
And finally, we found this new Mickey Mouse hat!
You can get it for $29.99.
Island Mercantile
The Tiki Room sculpture we saw recently in Hollywood Studios is now available in Island Mercantile!
You can get it for $125.
Riverside Depot
The #7 Legacy ornament of Dumbo is in stock inside Riverside Depot.
There are 12 of these, but we didn’t see #7 when we found them over in Disney Springs.
