Where can you ride a brand-new water roller coaster, dine with the Avengers, and design your own Disney ride?
There’s only one place like this — Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney ‘Wish’! The latest addition to Disney Cruise Line‘s fleet has all kinds of unique experiences, and we’ve already explored several of these offerings that sound amazing. But we just learned about a brand NEW spot that will be onboard the ‘Wish,’ and we already can’t wait to visit.
Disney’s latest announcement about the Disney ‘Wish’ made us feel so much joy about the new shop, a little sadness that it’s not open yet, and absolutely no disgust at all. (Did you catch our hint about this location’s theme??)
If you thought of Inside Out, you’re right! The ‘Wish’ is going to have a brand new candy shop called Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. This dessert stop is inspired by the Pixar film, and inside you’ll find sculptures of the five emotions: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and Anger. The shop will also be decorated with glowing Memory Orb lights and other features that make it look just like the control center in Riley’s head from the film.
The decorations sound great, but what about the TREATS? Disney announced that there will be more than 40 flavors of gelato and ice cream (🤩) along with hand-made toppings like whipped cream, fruit competes, and sauces. The only flavors that have been revealed so far include Peanut Butter Pretzel and White Chocolate Raspberry. You’ll also be able to find cupcakes that are themed to each of the five emotions: There’s a lemon one for Joy, a blueberry one for Sadness, a pistachio one for Disgust, a red velvet one for Anger, and a bubblegum one for Fear.
Looking for a new core memory? Joyful Sweets has got them — and they’re edible, too! You can buy chocolate Memory Orbs, which you’ll break open to find candy inside.
Other offerings include cake pops, handcrafted truffles, brownies, macarons, designer cookies, and all kinds of candy. This isn’t the first immersive candy shop on a Disney cruise ship (although it is the first one with an Inside Out theme). We were super impressed with a similar candy shop called Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats on the Disney ‘Dream,’ which is inspired by Wreck-It Ralph.
We can’t wait to see the Inside Out shop when the ‘Wish’ opens to guests for its maiden voyage this summer.
