We had a great day eating and drinking our way around the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!
This year’s festival runs from March 2nd through July 4th and celebrates springtime with gardens, entertainment, and FOOD. We’re allllll about those fresh eats, so we got our SNACK on at 18 FOOD BOOTHS.
Well, we wouldn’t want to disappoint you so we made it through EVERY. SINGLE. MENU. and you know what that means! We now have the HONOR of bringing you the very best of the best. So, without further ado, here is the 2022 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival BEST of the FEST!
New Bests
We tried most of these items for the first time EVER at this year’s festival and they wowed us enough to make our list of bests!
Grapefruit Tart at The Citrus Blossom
Our next winner is the Grapefruit Tart at The Citrus Blossom booth. This treat immediately caught our eyes for being TOTALLY adorable. It looks like a little sunflower! The flavors and textures were awesome as well with a PERFECT balance of tang and sweetness.
This treat is made with grapefruit curd, lychee jam, ginger mousse, and yuzu cream and will run ya $5.25.

Lavender Martini at Refreshment Port
The first new cocktail to make our list this year is the Lavender Martini, available for $11 from Refreshment Port. It’s made with vodka with lavender and lemon.
We love a good floral cocktail and Flower and Garden fest tends to be a prime time to find one. This delicious sip certainly delivered!

Poppy Flower Margarita at Jardin de Fiestas
Another winning cocktail could be found over at Jardin de Fiestas! The Mexico Pavilion booth is often a favorite of ours and with a best drink AND a best eat, it didn’t let us down this year.
The Poppy Flower Margarita is made with tequila blanco, hibiscus flower tea, cucumber juice, aperitivo, and blackcurrant liqueur with a chile salt rim. We could really taste the cucumber juice and loved this drink overall! Snag it for $13.75.

Enchilada de Mole Negro at Jardin de Fiestas
And yep, this spot has a great eat too! Take a look at the Enchilada de Mole Negro, A.K.A. chipotle chicken in a corn tortilla with mole negro, avocado mousse, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco for $7.50.
This thing was LAYERED with flavors. You’ve got sweetness from the mole, smoothness from the avocado, and CHEESINESS from the queso fresco. What a winner!

BLT Scone at Cider House
This was not how we expected to eat a BLT today, but we are so glad Cider House surprised us with the BLT Scone with Nueske’s applewood-smoked bacon, sundried tomato, and basil for $5.
The scone was awesome but what really sent this dish SAILING into our hall of fame was that jam that goes with it. OMG. It was a STELLAR way to balance the flavors of the scone.

Topped Arepas at La Isla Fresca
This next one is a two-for-one! We couldn’t decide which of the meat-topped arepas we liked better at La Isla Fresca, so they’re sharing a spot! Both of these eats had complex flavors and a little heat.
Try out the Arepa topped with shrimp, crushed avocado ají, and tomato sauce for $6.75 or the Arepa topped with chorizo for $6.25 (or both!). You can’t go wrong!

Coconut Tres Leches at La Isla Fresca
And dessert was a winner at this booth too! Seriously, as soon as we took a bite of the Coconut Tres Leches, we were practically asking the chefs for the recipe!
This treat is a vanilla cake soaked in oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk with toasted coconut for $4.50. It was SO GOOD. If you like coconut, you gotta give this one a try!

Corned Beef Brisket Hash at Sunshine Griddle
Yep, we’ve got another Sunshine Griddle item on our best of the fest list. The Corned Beef Brisket Hash for $6.25 was SO good that we’re still thinking about it a year later.
If house-made potato barrels, onions, peppers, cheese curds, and a soft-poached egg with Tabasco hollandaise sounds good to you, you’re gonna want to give this one a try. We ESPECIALLY love that hollandaise!

Avocado Toast at Sunshine Griddle
And, what’s this? Did EVERY SINGLE EAT from Sunshine Griddle make it to our bests list? WOW. We very well could have a best booth of the fest contender with this one!
The Avocado Toast with marinated toybox tomatoes on toasted ciabatta for $6 was STELLAR this year. It has a TON of amazing avocado that soaks down into the ciabatta. Add BEAUTIFUL presentation and you’ve got an eat we wouldn’t want you to miss.

Beignet Caramélisé at Fleur de Lys
We’ve got a pretty SWEET best at France’s Fleur de Lys booth. One of the dessert options is the Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel. That’s French for a Caramelized Beignet filled with Vanilla Cream and glazed with Caramel Fleur de Sel.
Well, you know how we feel about fried dough. This was thick and airy at the same time with the AMAZING flavors of that crystallized caramel glaze. Try it out yourself for $5.75!

Seared Scallops at Northern Bloom
Seafood lovers might want to make their way over to the Canada Pavilion booth, Northern Bloom. This spot has some Seared Scallops that were AH-MAZE-ING for $7.25.

Best BOOTH of the FEST
Alright, now that we’ve gone through ALL of the worthy items, it’s time to take things a step further. We’re revealing our picks for BEST of the booths at the fest. If you’re only visiting a few booths, we say these should be the ones!
Sunshine Griddle
For the second year in a row, Sunshine Griddle has TOPPED our list of festival booths at EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! This booth was brand-new last year and immediately shot into the hall of fame and it has HELD. ITS. GROUND. People love brunch, and this booth definitely capitalizes on that!
The entire food menu made our best of the fest list above, making this one of the easiest best booth decisions we’ve had in a loooong time. If you only visit one festival booth, make it this one!

Runners-up for Best Booth of the Fest
La Isla Fresca
Our first runner-up booth has GOT to be La Isla Fresca. Our reporter RAVED about this booth and we spotted a bunch of folks really enjoying the eats and sips.
We especially loved the arepas and coconut tres leches, as we mentioned above, but the other items at this booth were delightful too — both on the savory AND the sweet front.

Jardin de Fiestas
And the Mexico Pavilion booth comes in third with some AWESOME eats and amazing margaritas! We had absolutely NO complaints about the winners at this booth.
Even the items that didn’t make our bests list on their own were pretty tasty. We’re not sure you can go wrong at Jardin de Fiestas this year!

Best of the Fest for Kids
Now let’s talk about the best option for kiddos!
Froot Loops Shake at Sunshine Griddle
If your kiddo loves Froot Loops, you’re going to want to make a beeline to Sunshine Griddle. The Froot Loops Shake won as a best for kids last year and it’s back on our list again!
And yes that’s ANOTHER item from our best booth of the fest; no wonder Sunshine Griddle won! Sip on this for $4.75.

Frushi at Hanami
Is it really Flower and Garden fest if we don’t get our hands on some Frushi? This item is popular every year because of its novelty and we have to say kiddos might love this one.
It has the illusion of being adventurous but comes down to classic and delicious fruit and sweet rice flavors. You can try it for $6. Expect strawberry, pineapple, and cantaloupe wrapped in sweet rice and pink soy wrap served with whipped cream, berry sauce, and toasted coconut!

Cookie Butter Worms and Dirt at Flavor Full Kitchen
And our final best for kiddos has to be the Cookie Butter Worms and Dirt at Flavor Full Kitchen for $4.75. C’mon, you just have to read the name of this one to know kids are gonna love it.
As grown-ups, this treat was pretty good, but nothing too fabulous. Still, we’re sure that little ones will LOVE the combo of cookie butter flavors and gummy worms.

Instagram Winner
It’s true, we tasted some SERIOUSLY amazing flavors today, but some of these eats and sips had some seriously good looks too. A few years back, we introduced the most Instagrammable item of the Fest to give some love to the PRETTIEST items with the best presentation or “wow” factor, even if they may not taste that great.
Strawberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake at Funnel Cakes
Our Instagram winner of the fest is a GORGEOUS treat — though we didn’t love the taste. Check out the Strawberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake at Funnel Cakes for $10.50.
Isn’t she GORGEOUS? We didn’t love the strawberry flavors here; they were a little artificial. But, you can’t deny your Instagram feed would be LUCKY to show off this sweet treat.
Click here to see our REVIEW of this treat!
Thanks for joining us for our trip through ALL of the wonderful gardens and eats! We had SO much fun and we’ve gotta say, we’re ready for another visit to the fest already. Don’t forget, we’ll be right here throughout the festival for all of the tips and planning needs you might have!

If you dont have a food plan do you pay in cash? Last time I attended food and wine (2015) I was able to purchase in the park a prepaid card that gave me some discounts on the food.
