Fire and Ice Coffee
There are some things that are pretty difficult to get like popcorn buckets, 50th Anniversary Collectibles, and more! We find ourselves rope-dropping, or camping out, for multiple things in the Disney Parks, not just theme parks, and this Disney Springs dessert spot requires some real patience. Gideon’s Bakehouse is constantly putting out new, creative, and delicious baked goods like the coffee cake cookie, spicy cake, and a hot cookie! Gideon’s just released another new item, and this one’s already making our mouths water!
Gideon’s flavor of the month for March is Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip (we already tried the cookie back in 2021), but now there’s a CAKE! This Coffee Toffee Vanilla Bean Cake is made with 3 layers of Vanilla Coffee Bean Cake and filled with Gideon’s signature Coffee Buttercream that has crunchy Toffee pieces in it!Â

The catch? The cake is only available on weekends in March at the original East End Market and Disney Springs locations. There’s a limit for 2 per customer, and it can’t be pre-ordered as a whole item. So if the cake is a must-get for you, you’ll want to stop by Gideon’s on a Saturday or Sunday this month!

Are they still doing the virtual queue? That worked great for us when we were there almost a year ago.
Hi Vicki! Gideon’s is still using the virtual queue system for the most part. We have seen them switch to a traditional line occasionally on less busy days, but that has been rare.
Is this by the slice or whole cake?
Hi Joey! The cake is available in slices (maximum of two per customer) and can not be ordered as a whole cake.
