We don’t like to pick favorites, but Wine Bar George in Disney Springs holds a pretty special place in our hearts (Shhh! Don’t tell the others!). It’s got cheese on fire, for one thing. Cheese. On fire. There’s also some killer mac and cheese bites, a thoughtfully curated cheese board, oh, and a Master Sommelier known as George Miliotes (you know, like the sign).

George Miliotes just shared some exciting news! In-person wine events are returning to Disney Springs on March 22nd, 2022 with Master Sommelier George Miliotes and Monica Ordóñez. These guys are like wine EXPERTS, so if you’ve ever wanted to learn about the history of wine, how to appreciate it, or where it comes from, this is your chance!

The first official event will take place on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:30PM with Master Sommelier George Miliotes and Monica Ordóñez. According to the Wine Bar George website, “Monica is the daughter of Jorge Ordóñez, and together, along with Jorge’s son Victor, the Ordóñez family is sourcing and making some of the greatest wines in Spain.” It sounds like it’s a family affair; how fun!

There are some AMAZING food and drinks here

During the event, guests can indulge in a special multi-course dinner from Executive Chef Ron Rupert. Selections from the Jorge Ordóñez portfolio will go with each course (this is a WINE event, after all!). Guests will be able to try a variety of wines from Toro, Rueda, and more.
