With several new attractions in the works, crews throughout Disney World are working around the clock so that guests will soon be able to enjoy the new rides.
One attraction that we have patiently (okay, maybe not that patiently) been waiting for is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! This indoor coaster will take guests into space and is set to open in summer 2022 — and today, we’re bringing you an update on the ride’s construction progress. Let’s check it out!
We took a ride on the EPCOT monorail to see if there was any new progress on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — and progress we saw!
Last time we checked in on this ride, we noticed that the queue entrance markers had been installed just outside the ride building — and it looks like crews are on the ground again working on the queue markers and the Nova Corps Starblaster.

Did you catch it? It also looks like there’s some maintenance being done on the interior of the Starblaster as well.
We’re getting closer to being able to finally ride this attraction — check out just how BIG that Starblaster is!
Disney is still keeping quiet on an opening date for this attraction, but it is currently scheduled to open in summer 2022. For more Disney attractions and park news, be sure to stay tuned to DFB!
