You know the old expression, “When one door closes, another one opens“? Well, in Disney World, it’s more like, “When one merchandise collection ends, another one begins.” Remember the old Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection from a few years ago? For a while there, it was nearly impossible to get your hands on anything from the collection! You needed a merchandise pass just to have ACCESS to the items; it was a whole thing, believe us.
Which of the Disney mountains is your favorite?
Well, it looks like Disney is pulling from the archives, because the new Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction is coming soon! What next, Disney? Donald Duck: The Main Attraction? (On second thought, that’s not a bad idea…). If you love Mickey Mouse and Disney attractions (who doesn’t?!), you’re going to want to hear this news!
In a perfect world, all 12 of the “monthly” Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction collections would debut at the beginning of each month, but the first collection is expected to debut in Disney World this March! The collection is inspired by the ICONIC Disney World attraction, Space Mountain!

Disney shared the official release date on Instagram. Starting on March 14th, the Space Mountian collection is zooming over to the World of Disney store in Disney Springs! Luckily, you won’t need the world’s fastest internet connection or a merchandise pass this time around.

Keep in mind that these Disney collections tend to be VERY popular, so you might want to HURRY if you want a new pair of Mickey ears, a Loungefly backpack, or a new pin. Looking ahead, there are some fun attraction themes coming up! We already saw a preview of the Pirates of the Caribbean collection, which should be up next. We’ll let you know when we see it in the parks or online!
