These days, it can sometimes feel like Disney rides are closing left, right, and center!
No, don’t worry, most of them are not closing PERMANENTLY. Some attractions have just been shutting down for a little while to get general maintenance. We’ve seen it happen recently with several fan-favorites at Disney World, and multiple rides at Disneyland Resort have had scheduled refurbishments as well. Today, ANOTHER popular ride is closing for a little while!
Yesterday (March 14th), Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Park closed for refurbishment. This classic ride is a staple of Disneyland and will be unavailable for at least a few weeks.
According to the Disneyland website, Pirates of the Caribbean will be closed through early summer 2022. A more specific end date for the closure has not yet been shared.
We’ll keep you updated on the ride’s reopening, so stay tuned to DFB! We’ve got you covered with the latest Disneyland news and information.
