One of our favorite ways to spend a day not in the Disney World parks is by hanging out over at Disney Springs!
There are some great restaurants to check out for a nice lunch or dinner (or just eat a giant cookie instead, because why not!), and there is also a TON of shopping! We like to pop on through the area regularly to check out what’s going on, so come with us to see what’s new over in Disney Springs!
Disney Springs Food Updates
Local Green Orlando
A NEW food truck has opened up at Disney Springs called Local Green Orlando! This is an Atlanta-based restaurant that specializes in vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian options.
Local Green’s mission is “to redefine healthy, affordable food for all by creating an ecosystem based on trust and accountability.”
We tried out a few of the menu items from this new food truck, like the Monsta, which is a sandwich with pan seared jumbo shrimp, house made slaw, sliced beefsteak tomato, and sriracha mayo for $15.99 (it’s also pescatarian)…
…the Badu Wrap, which is a vegan spinach tortilla wrap filled with kale, quinoa blend, red onions, tomatoes, nutritional yeast, and locally sourced kale dressing for $13.99 (and it’s vegan!)…
…and Air Fries for $5.99, which were our favorite! They were seriously so delicious and reminded us of Arby’s curly fries, minus the curl.
We can’t wait to try out some more items over here!

Swirls on the Water
Yep, there’s ANOTHER new food spot open in Disney Springs! Swirls on the Water has replaced Aristocrêpes for good and specializes in DOLE WHIP!
They have a 50th Celebration Cone for $5.49, which has DOLE Whip Lemon and Cookie Dough soft-serve swirled together in a cone with EAR-idescent sprinkles and a white chocolate Mickey decoration…
…as well as a DOLE Whip FLIGHT! The three flavors in the flight are Habanero Lime, Pineapple and Vanilla Swirl, and Cookie Dough and Lemon Swirl for $6.49 total.
There are even Dole Whip nachos, y’all. How exciting!!

St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day was just a few days ago and we tried a TON of fun treats over a Disney Springs! There was a fun rainbow cake, minty cookie bites, a chocolatey milkshake, and more.
You can check out ALL of the food we tried right here!

Disney Springs Merchandise Updates

There is a NEW Little Mermaid collection at Vera Bradley! We’ve spotted this in the parks too, but we found the whole line at the Vera Bradley store in Disney Springs.
We went on the day of the grand opening and there was a selfie backdrop and everything!
There are 37 items in this whole collection, so let’s take a look at a few of them! First, there’s a Campus Backpack for $130…
…a Tote Bag for $150…
…and a throw blanket for $65.
You can take a look at more items in the collection right here.
