There’s no shortage of things to do in Disney World!
From all of the amazing rides, yummy treats to try, and festivals, it’s really difficult to get bored. We’re always on the lookout for fun and lesser-known activities, and today that took us over to Disney Springs. This area is full of shopping and food options, and today we went to the LEGO Store to customize our very own LEGO Minifigure!
On top of selling tons of LEGO sets ranging from Star Wars ships to Disney castles, the LEGO Store has a station where you can also create your own Minifigure right in the store!
At this station, they had examples of what all of the different elements of the figure could look like.
You can customize your Minifigure on these tablets. Here’s what it looked like when we were selecting the clothing!
If you don’t want to choose from any of LEGO’s designs, you can draw your own design to go on the Minifigure’s shirt!
We decided to customize the top with snacks, because we are DFB, after all! We ended up picking a cupcake, a pretzel, a turkey leg, and a donut.
You can customize the back of the shirt as well! We chose a camera and this cute text that said “Orlando.”
You can also pick an accessory for the Minifigure to hold. There are tons of options to choose from like flowers or soccer balls. We ended up choosing a pie!
Lastly, all that was left to do was name our Minifigure, and you already know we had to represent DFB!
And this is what our Minifigure looked like all put together! We thought she turned out super cute, and we got this colorful little LEGO box to take her home in.
Here’s a closer look at our Minifigure. You can even give the figures glasses, which we added, and all of the little snacks came out so well on her top!
The camera and “Orlando” text came out great too.
Here’s a video of our LEGO Minifigure being printed!

These are cute and my kids want to do this! Somewhere I think I saw that a reservation is needed to do so? Is that the case?
Daniela says
Are they still doing mini-figures? When I try to book a reservation on the website, I’m only given the option to do a Lego Photo Mosaic at the Disney Springs location…
Thanks for the help!
Whitney says
Are there different skin color options for these? And diverse hairstyles? I’d love to see screenshots of the options!
Nadine says
Are they still doing online reservations for this? I tried booking online and no times are available for the month ahead. Do you know at what time in the morning they are posted? Wondering if it is selling out or just not available…
Courtney Newgard says
Do you know if multiple reservations are required if there are multiple people in the group that one to build one? We’ve got 4 kids in tow, so heaven knows that we’ll need to come home with 4 minifigs!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Courtney! You’ll need to make sure each child has a reservation.
