Happy April, everyone! Have you realized that Easter is only a few weeks away?
We’re already seeing a ton of new Easter snacks at Disney World, an entirely new pop-up shop at the Grand Floridian dedicated to Easter treats, and elaborate chocolate Easter egg displays at the hotels. Speaking of which, we’ve got two NEW displays to share with you today, and one of them has a chocolate egg dedicated to a very underrated Disney movie!
Okay Zootopia fans, if you love the movie as much as we do, you’re going to lose your mind in a minute. Because the chocolate Easter egg display over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort has a Zootopia Egg with Judy and Nick! Isn’t it amazing?
But that’s just the beginning. Because there are a ton of other gorgeous eggs at the Beach Club too, including an Ursula Egg (oh, you poor unfortunate souls)…
…a Te Fiti Egg from Moana…
…a Chocolate Stitch with a Scrump Egg (okay, that is too sweet!)…
…a Steamboat Willie Egg that’s designed to look like the Steamboat Willie popcorn bucket from the parks…
…fun Mickey and Minnie Eggs…
…and even an egg from the “Kiss The Girl” scene from The Little Mermaid. One thing that always impresses us about these works of art is the level of detail Disney bakers put into each creation. Just take a look at this thing!
There was also a cute Chocolate Duffy Bears Sculpture. Y’all — they have Mickey heads ON THEIR FEET. ❤️
When we were done gawking at the eggs at the Beach Club hotel, we headed over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and looked at even MORE amazing chocolate eggs! The designs here were just as beautiful — look at this Mad Hatter-inspired Egg.
We even saw an egg dedicated to “it’s a small world,” complete with all those lovely Mary Blair-inspired touches.
There were so many eggs in the display, we could barely keep track of them all. We love the 50th Anniversary Egg here, along with the Pineapple Egg and the Alice in Wonderland Egg. But check out that sweet personalized egg from the Contemporary Bakery — it has the names of all the bakery’s Cast Members on it!
This Candle Egg looks almost real.
And this Butterfly Egg has a lot of whimsy.
We also found another 50th Anniversary Egg hiding in this display!
Just look at more of these beautiful designs — where do the bakery chefs get these ideas? How do they do that?
Finishing out this display, there was a Golden Egg!
If you happen to be at Disney World around Easter, we highly recommend checking out all the chocolate Easter egg displays at the hotel. These edible works of art will be gone after Easter, so see them while you can! In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for more news from Disney World, Disneyland, and more.
