We totally get it. It’s smart to plan ahead and see which rides you want to rope drop, which rides you want to snag Lightning Lanes for, and which rides consistently have low wait times. Well, we’re here to help! Let’s take a look at the average wait times from this past week in Disney World.
Magic Kingdom
Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 89 minutes!

After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 75 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 65 minutes, Splash Mountain at 59 minutes, Space Mountain at 54 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 44 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 43 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 41 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 39 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 36 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 36 minutes, and “it’s a small world” at 32 minutes.

Next, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 27 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 27 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 27 minutes, and Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 26 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway at 24 minutes.

Then, we saw Mad Tea Party at 18 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 17 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 15 minutes.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Country Bear Jamboree at 4 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 3 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat at 1 minute. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 87 minutes.

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 79 minutes, Test Track at 62 minutes, Soarin’ at 35 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 27 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 19 minutes, Living with the Land at 15 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 11 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 11 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 12 minutes, and Awesome Planet at 1 minute.

Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 128 minutes.
Just a bit intimidating
After that, we had Tower of Terror at 116 minutes, Slinky Dog Dash at 103 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 73 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 70 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 65 minutes, and Toy Story Mania at 62 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 39 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 27 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 14 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 7 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 93 minutes.
Time to uh, fly!
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 64 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 61 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 29 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 28 minutes.

Following behind was Triceratop Spin at 14 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 11 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.

It’s still the Winter tourist season in Florida (even though it’s Spring), and some schools are on Spring break, even though most schools have finished Spring break.
Let’s see if things calm down by the end of April. If rising food, gas, rent, interest rates, homeowners insurance, medical care, and constant price increases at Disney World can’t stop the crowded conditions then nothing can
I wouldn’t wait hours for any ride in any theme park.
I guess I missed if this was using Genie+ or not?
The bottom line is that I wouldn’t “wait hours” for ANY ride! In fact, I’ve never even entered a line that had a wait-time of greater than 45 minutes posted & that was in Pandora for “Avatar Flight of Passage” because it looked like the longest part of the “wait” was the walk from the entrance to the ride itself — that was in April 2021!
Prior to the “pandemic shutdown”, the only rides that I’d ride were the ones I had a Fast Pass for OR that had a single rider line like Test Track.
The thing is, between back & leg issues, standing in line for extended periods is just not an option for me, but even if I didn’t have those “health issues”, I doubt seriously if I would ever stand in line for more than an hour.
Still being break for schools and with Genie+ making things even orse, long lines with long wait times is no suprise.
NOTHING, at Disney, is worth wasting any time on! Especially, these extended wait times!!
We just got back from a 10 day trip and the wait times were RIDICULOUS! Waited 2.5 hours for Avitar which I will NEVER wait that long for anything again, red flag should’ve gone up when I realized they’ve got a bathroom inside for the people in queue. I think so many things are contributing to the wait times i.e. Spring Break, 50th celebration, everyone finally being able to go on vacation after the pandemic. While I have no regrets, the wait times definitely took away some of the magic.
