Birthdays in Disney World are a pretty big deal. You can get a free birthday button, eat lots of cake, and receive birthday wishes from complete strangers — talk about special treatment! Back on October 1st, we celebrated the Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary, but on April 22nd, (which also happens to be Earth Day), it will be time to wish a happy birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Of course, Disney tends to roll out the red carpet during a big birthday celebration, so we’re expecting some exclusive merchandise, tasty treats, and maybe a photo op or two; you never know what you might see! Now, Disney just released the full list of special snacks arriving at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Day. Let’s take a look!
Dawa Bar in Africa has three special treats arriving for Earth Day! The Lion’s Fury cocktail, made with Jungle Juice, Red Stag Bourbon Whiskey, and a Fireball Whiskey Floater, is returning for the celebration, along with the Honey Bee Citrus Blonde Ale and the Tiger Tail Pale Ale.
If you’re hoping to raise a glass to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, head to the Dawa Bar for a fun little drink!

Over in Asia at the Thirsty River Bar, the YETI Sunset Cocktail will make an appearance! It contains Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Strawberry Monin, and Lychee Lemonade. We’ve tried this drink before and really enjoyed it, but be warned, it’s pretty strong!
This drink spot will also serve the Honey Bee Citrus Blonde Ale and the Tiger Tail Pale Ale.

Next stop: Dinoland U.S.A.! Restaurantosaurus is bringing back the Honey Bee Cupcake; an Orange Cake with Honey Bavarian Filling, Honey Frosting, and a White Chocolate Honeycomb.
This is another returning treat, though it’s being served in a new location for 2022. You can also order this cupcake at Creature Comforts on Discovery Island.

Right next door at the Restaurantosaurus Lounge, you can try the Crave the Wave cocktail, which is made with Snow Leopard Vodka, Blue Curacao, Lemonade, and Lemon Wheel.
If you like lemonade-based cocktails, we think you’d probably enjoy this. It’s a pretty simple drink with some sweet, tart flavors, making it the perfect celebratory cocktail! You can also order the Honey Bee Citrus Blonde Ale and the Tiger Tail Pale Ale at this location.

While we’re still in Dinoland, we should probably mention that the Dino Diner will be serving the Sea Turtle, a Frozen Blue Raspberry, and Frozen Lemonade drink topped with a wave of Blue Cotton Candy.
This is a “new” drink for 2022, though it’s verrrryyy similar to the Cotton Top Lagoon drink we’ve tried in the past. The cotton candy dissolves into the drink super quickly, so act fast if you order this drink!

Moving over to Discovery Island, the Isle of Java will serve the Red Crowned Crane drink! As you may have noticed, Disney likes to use cotton candy in its specialty drinks; this one is made with Frozen Coke topped with Frozen Cherry Coke and a Crown of Cotton Candy.
It tastes pretty much identical to a frozen cherry Coke slush, but who could resist a fluffy, puffy hunk of cotton candy?

We’ve got another returning classic at Pizzafari to show you! The Flamingo Cupcake is a Strawberry Cake Cupcake filled with Strawberry Compote and crowned with Guava Frosting, Strawberry Crisp Pearls, and White-Chocolate Wings. She’s a beaut, right? You can also order this treat at Flame Tree Barbecue.
Hey, Disney, we know you like to promote the idea of “reduce, reuse, recycle” (especially in Animal Kingdom), but we were really hoping for some new treats! Either way, this was a fun little cupcake that looks GREAT in photos!

Terra Treats will offer up the Loggerhead drink this year! This nonalcoholic drink is made with Sprite and Granny Smith Apple Syrup over ice with a Gummy Worm, Sugar Lime Rim, and a souvenir Glow Cube.
In the past, we referred to this mocktail as “just a fancy Sprite,” though it’s still a fun drink that is great for kids!

Finally, over in Pandora — The World of Avatar, one of our favorite quick-service locations known as Satu’li Canteen will offer the Kiwi Margarita, which is made with Kiwi Monin with Lime, Sour, and Tequila.
Last time we tried this cocktail, we weren’t exactly “wowed,” but maybe this year the Kiwi Margarita will step up its game!
