Gorillas, frogs, and dinosaurs — oh my?! That’s right, we’re talking about the Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe!
Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe just announced new, limited time only menu items, and we’re drooling on our phone screens.
Rainforest Cafe
Rainforest Cafe is well-known for its jungle-themed atmosphere, but its wide variety of food is also worth noting! They just announced via Instagram that they’ll be adding to their menu for a limited time, and we had to share this with you!
Where are our fish lovers at?! These new options sound amazing, and we’re so excited to try them out! The Red Fish Potosina comes with adobo glazed redfish, seasoned breadcrumbs, topical ceviche, garlic seasoned asparagus, and cilantro rice.
The Poke Bowl comes with sesame-soy marinated sushi-grade ahi tuna, jasmine rice, sweet & sour carrots, Asian cucumbers, tomatoes, mixed greens, boom boom sauce, wonton strips, and sesame seeds.
The Korean Salmon and Shrimp comes with Korean glazed ginger salmon, crispy fried shrimp, Asian cucumbers, sweet & sour carrots, marinated red cabbage, Jasmine rice, green onions, sesame seeds.
If someone in your group doesn’t like fish, we recommend they try another item like the Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich!
This sandwich is $20.49 at the Disney Springs location, and was something we definitely would order again!

T-Rex Cafe
This sister restaurant to Rainforest Cafe takes you back to prehistoric times with a unique dining experience! They also announced via Instagram that they’re offering new menu items for a limited time.
The new Triassic Trio comes with dino-mite shrimp and scallops, chimichurri grilled shrimp, char-grilled sirloin steak, steak butter, raptor rice, and seasonal vegetables. (We thoroughly enjoyed these puns, by the way.)
The Mediterranean Chicken and Shrimp Pasta comes with sautéed chicken and shrimp tossed with lemon basil pesto, spinach, burrata cheese, heirloom cherry tomatoes, and bucatini pasta.
The Maple Bourbon Pork Chop comes with double thick bone-in grilled pork chop, maple bourbon BBQ sauce, grilled corn, and apple-cranberry brussel slaw.
The Crispy Lemon Chicken comes with panko-parmesan crusted chicken, arugula heirloom tomato salad, jasmine rice, and seasonal vegetables.
The T-Rex Cafe also released new drinks that will pair perfectly with these limited time dishes!
The Nauti Rita is made with Skyy Sun Ripened Watermelon Vodka, Corazón Blanco Tequila, simple syrup, Finest Call Mango Purée, and fresh lime juice. The Desert Pear is made with Don Q Cristal Rum, Monin Desert Pear & Monin Guava Syrups, pineapple juice, and sweet & sour. And last — but certainly not least — the Loaded Strawberry Lemonade is made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, fresh lemon juice, Truly Strawberry Lemonade Hard Seltzer, and Tropics Strawberry Purée.
Since these new items are only being offered for a limited time, be sure to check them out soon! Also, make sure to check back here often for the latest Disney news — including new menu items!

Looks great, but Rainforest and T-Rex have a reputation of being overpriced…. How much, at $19.95 or less could be a great find, at $29.95 and above, it is not a great deal… What is the deal>..?

Could you help a Momma out? We went to Trex Cafe in Jan 2023 and there was this Cherry soda drink in a glow cup that was so so good. I can not remember what it was called and it’s not on the menu online? Would anyone have and idea what it’s called? I’d like to replicate it at home for my kids again.
