EPCOT is sort of going through a mid-life crisis at the moment, though we lovingly refer to it as a “transformation,” because who doesn’t go through a phase in life where you just need a little change? As part of EPCOT’s big transformation, the park is getting ready to unveil the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction, plus a new quick-service restaurant is opening soon!
EPCOT has been going through some big changes!
Right now, EPCOT is in its final stages of preparation for some big attraction and restaurant openings, and we’ve got the photos to prove it! If you’re like us and get excited over small details and construction updates, you’re in the right place!
Disney Imagineers installed a new sign over at the entrance to Connections Eatery! The sign has that same modern-looking font we’ve seen at the Creations Shop.

Obviously, those big construction walls block most of our view inside the restaurant, but thanks to Imagineer Zach Riddley, we have a few hints as to what’s going on in there.
We’ve got a sign, people!
As a little refresher, Connections Café is a new restaurant coming to EPCOT World Celebration. It is located right next to the Creations Shop. This quick-service spot is set to open this spring, and we can’t wait to give it a try!

That’s not the only news we’ve got for ya, though! Remember those handy signs that helped guests navigate EPCOT? They’re BACK! Let’s be honest, unless you’re a theme park expert, navigating EPCOT can be a little confusing, so these new signs will be much appreciated.
Finally! We can figure out where we’re going again!
Now, we’ve got signs directing guests towards the World Showcase, The Land pavilion, Mission: SPACE, Test Track, and more!
We can’t wait for all that construction to go away!
Admittedly, this one made us EXTRA happy! We’ve finally got a sign for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The sign even says, “Coming Summer 2022.”
Now that’s a good SIGN Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening soon!
Now, if you’re trying to find the easiest way to the World Showcase, just look up!

Epcot is a mess from the entry to the lagoon. Deadends. Long walkways with nothing but blank construction walls. Just got back from the Flower and garden show. Terrible. I’m done with Diz.
