If you ask us, spring is pretty much unofficial brunch season! And we’ve got some GREAT news for all the brunch lovers out there (it’s us — we’re the brunch lovers).
We love a good brunch, and while we don’t think you need a special occasion for it, we appreciate a celebratory meal as much as the next guy. Disney World is pulling out all of the stops for Easter this year, but we can’t forget that Mother’s Day is also right around the corner! If you’re looking to celebrate either of these holidays with some tasty brunch, then we have the Disney Springs spot for you!
City Works in Disney Springs is hosting 2 Rock ‘n’ Roll brunches in the next few weeks. One is on Easter (April 17th) and the other is on Mother’s Day (May 8th). These brunches will have themed music, and the Mother’s Day one even has complimentary flowers for all moms!Â
City Works has said the Easter brunch will have “breakfast classics rocking surprising twists.” Some of the brunch dishes will include Jon Bun Jovi (a warm jumbo cinnamon roll with vanilla icing), Johnny Hash (hardwood-smoked pulled pork shoulder, red and green bell peppers, onions, butternut squash, potatoes, jalapeño salsa verde, sunny side up eggs), and The Boss (an 8 oz. top sirloin steak with eggs and cheesy potato casserole).
The Mother’s Day Rock ‘n’ Roll brunch will feature a flight of MOMosas! You can choose four of the following flavors: Classic (orange juice), Bellini (peach Schnapps and orange juice), Tropical (Malibu rum, pineapple juice, and grenadine), Sangria (dry cider, triple sec, fresh fruit, and mint), Rosé (Ketel grapefruit rosé vodka, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and cranberry juice), or Paloma (tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, Sprite, and tajin).
Reservations aren’t required for these events, but they are definitely recommended. Especially because both of these take place on holidays, we recommend getting reservations as soon as possible! We’re always staying up to date on all the latest in all things Disney, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
