Is it time to hop on over to Disney World?
Yes, yes, we’re making Easter Bunny references, maybe because we got really excited to see Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny at Disney World yesterday or maybe we’re just hyped up on a ton of sugary Easter treats. But we’re not done yet because there are more Easter snacks to try, so let’s head on over to Disney Springs for another one. This snack is actually really difficult to eat, but not for a reason that you’d expect!
This new Easter treat can be found at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. It’s the Hopping Parfait, and we’re just going to say this — this snack will look GREAT on your social media page. Look at all these pastel colors — it’s almost TOO pretty to eat! That’s where the difficulty with this treat came in: It looks so perfect that we really don’t want to mess up those pretty layers!
BUT we steeled our nerves and dug in anyways. The snack is a fun Easter-themed trifle with carrot cake, cream cheese mousse, carrot cake croutons, and malted Easter eggs. And we can confirm that it tastes as good as it looks! The mousse is light and fluffy, and we get hints of a fruity flavor (maybe pineapple) in the yellow mousse.
The downside, though, is that the dessert is a little small and easy to eat quickly (once you get past the fact that it’s almost too gorgeous to ruin), so you might want to question if it’s worth the $8 price tag. Although we loved the flavor, the texture of the cream cheese mousse didn’t wow us, even with the crunchy bits on top.
But, hey, it IS pretty and a lot of fun, so if you want to try it out for yourself, it’s available through April 17th. We’ll be trying even MORE Easter snacks at Disney World, so be sure to check back soon for more reviews!
We never thought we’d want to eat a SHOE in Disney World, but here we are.
