If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you have a lot to look forward to!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened up on May 27th (and it’s SO COOL!), EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival will run through part of November, and there’s plenty of Halloween and holiday fun here or on the way. ALL of Disney World’s hours have already been posted through October 25th, so let’s take a look to help you plan your Disney days!

August

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 11PM most nights in August. But there are some exceptions. On August 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th it is only open from 8AM to 6PM. On August 18th, the park also closes a little early — only opening from 9AM to 7PM.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is offered this month, and on days when the party takes place, Magic Kingdom closes at 6PM. So just keep that in mind. There are also Extended Evening Hours available on select days in the month.

EPCOT

In August, EPCOT is generally open from 8:30AM to 9PM.

Extended Evening Hours are available in this park on select nights.

Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is open from 8AM to 8PM through August 28th. On August 29th-31st, the park is open from 8AM to 7PM.

Now let’s move on to Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is going to be open from 8:30 to 9PM throughout August.

This park has only had 1 Extended Evening Hours event in the past, but we’ll update you if any more are announced in the future.

Typhoon Lagoon

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be open from 10AM to 7PM every day in August. There will be H2O Glow After Hours events from 8PM to 11PM on August 13th, 20th, and 27th.

Now let’s check out Disney Springs!

Disney Springs

Disney Springs will continue to be open from 10AM to 11PM on Sunday through Thursday and from 10AM to 11:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

It’s business as usual in Disney Springs.

September

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 11PM on many nights in September, with some exceptions. 

On September 2nd, 5th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, and 30th, the park will be open from 8AM to 6PM. Again, these earlier openings and closures have to do with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, which shut down the park at night for party guests (the parties officially begin at 7PM).

Also, note that Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 10PM on September 12th and 19th.

Extended Evening hours are on September 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th from 11PM to 1AM.

Let’s take a look at EPCOT in September.

EPCOT

EPCOT will be open from 8:30AM to 9PM most days in September. But it will be open from 9AM to 9PM on September 8th.

Extended Evening hours are from 9PM to 11PM on September 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th.

Let’s take a look at Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is open from 8AM to 8PM on September 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th. On the remaining days, the park is generally open from 8AM to 7PM.

Let’s see what Hollywood Studios’ hours are like.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios will be open from 8:30AM to 9PM on most days in September. But, on September 8th the park doesn’t open until 9AM.

How about the water park?

Typhoon Lagoon

Typhoon Lagoon’s hours are changing in September. The water park is open from 10AM to 7PM from September 1st through 5th. But then the hours change for September 6th and on to 10AM to 5PM.

So keep that in mind if you plan on visiting Typhoon Lagoon in September.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs will keep to its same hours, which are from 10AM to 11PM on Sunday through Thursday and from 10AM to 11:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Now, let’s look at October.

October

Magic Kingdom

In October, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM to 11PM on October 1st. It is then open from 9AM to 10PM on days when there is NOT a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party scheduled for the evening, and it’s open from 9AM to 6PM when there is a Halloween party.

The days of the Halloween parties (when Magic Kingdom is open from 9AM to 6PM) are October 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, and 25th.

Let’s look at EPCOT.

EPCOT

EPCOT will be open from 8:30AM to 9PM on October 1st. Its hours then switch to 9AM to 9PM on October 2nd and remain that way for the rest of the month.

Next up, Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM to 8PM on October 1st.

The hours then change to 9AM to 7PM throughout the rest of the month.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios will be open from 8:30AM to 9PM on October 1st.

Those hours are then shortened to 9AM to 9PM for the rest of the month.

Typhoon Lagoon

Typhoon Lagoon keeps its shortened hours — 10AM to 5PM — for October.

Then it’s time to visit Disney Springs.

Disney Springs

At Disney Springs, it’s business as usual with the dining and shopping district open from 10AM to 11:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and open from 10AM to 11PM on Sundays through Thursdays.
